Upheaval in Iraq will continue as long as the ruling oligarchy makes no room for a political opposition to emerge.
Dear my fellow humans,
Many of you don’t know me or will probably not remember me but I ask you. No. I plead with you please go and read about a revolution that is happening in my country of origin. Iraq Was once a nation of pride, beauty and splendour. It was a country where people from across the world would go to study due to its advanced education system at the time. It was taken from us because of dictatorship. The Iraqi people have been peacefully protesting due to the fact that the government is robbing the people of basic human rights (food,water,clothing,electricity. Ect). They want change and they have done their time for waiting.
In the age of social media, we are the change. We won’t let this happen when we have the power to do something about it.
For those of you that will look at this post while blinded by propaganda will say “That doesn’t affect me, it’s their country” which I will say, regardless of race,colour,religion or nationality,They are still people they still have a mother,father,a neighbor, a friend, a wife, a child, a brother or a sister. They all have something they fight for just like you when you want something beneficial for your family. I ask you as a person through a screen having no idea what to do other than raise exposure for this issue because the media often decides to leave a country like Iraq out of normal life only to in future vilify them.
Please give this post the most exposure possible, reblog, like, post it on bigger platform or other media accounts. I will never forget my roots or let the injustice of a government go by without having someone with power not do anything.
