WAIT, IM STOATED?! new fursona !!

below the cut i've compiled every fursona I've made since i was around 8, in chronological order. im so proud to have a fursona that i can finally say represents me as a physical person who exists in this world, instead of just a concept. it feels nice to be real.

The gate (commission, 2023)

This commission was done for @mikejwitz to headline his year-in-review post for @funguszone . The prompt was fairly loose; I was asked if I could paint a scene from any of a laundry-list of games that came out in 2023, one of which was Signalis, which I really love (despite having not beaten it yet - need to restart it and see if I can have fewer chronic ammo shortages 😅).

This specific shot from the game's introduction segment was so striking, and the white-out from the blizzard seemed like it would fit a "paper-white" CRT display so well, that I knew immediately I needed to draw it. On his post, the image takes on a blue coloration and a little bit of extra bloom, but for posterity I'm posting it here from before those effects were applied. (It's up to you which one you prefer.)
