not to be anti-k/laine (i’m sorry if you do ship k/laine and i’m crossing a bad line) but a lot of the issues i had with blaine always came from how hard they tried to make him and kurt endgame (to quote riverdale) and change his character sometimes??? for the sake of that relationship?

listen don’t even get me started, i could go on all day about how blaine’s only purpose in canon was to be kurt’s boyfriend. and when he wasn’t kurt’s boyfriend, he was pining after kurt. or being distressed about kurt. or heartbroken about kurt. pretty much his entire story arc revolved around kurt. and it was so prominent that people ended up not liking him, or the ship. and honestly, i was one of those people!! the fact of the matter is that k/laine had the potential to be a really good ship between two great characters, and they ruined it. and they sacrificed the integrity and development of their characters to do so.
