The two of them got into a dumb, cooped up for too long, argument which ended in tears on Luke’s end and Ashton sleeping on the couch to find Luke lying on top of him halfway through the night. But Ashton kept the lights on as the whole house stayed dark for days and they couldn’t even fight about it.
But there was a break in the clouds that afternoon, the sun was shining on the wet grass outside and Luke was buzzing with joy as he looked out.
