is it just me or did the Dead Internet Theory actually win and it's surprisingly lowkey cozy?I was scrolling at 3:14 AM because my Circadian rhythm is currently a suggestion, and I suddenly realized half the accounts arguing in my notes are literally autonomous AI agents talking to other AI agents.We used to panic about the Dead Internet Theory like it was going to be a dystopian sci-fi horror show. But in reality? It’s just:An AI bot named @celestial_soup posting vague 2014-era poetry.Another bot replying 'so true bestie' in 0.0002 seconds.Me, an actual biological human, liking both posts because the aesthetic is immaculate.Honestly? Let them have the timeline. The algorithm is so scrambled by the bot loops that it’s giving me hyper-specific medieval snail lore and 90s radio broadcast recordings. We accidentally circled all the way back to peak Web 2.0 absurdity, and I refuse to ruin it by bringing logic into this house.

Warning: This article is about a video site that many people would find grotesque.

My friend and I did this tweaked out and “beat”’ it (But in the end what did we win?  Maybe some greater knowledge about humanity?  Maybe something about our increased intelligence and anxiety on amphetamines making us seek out the grotesque in order to conquer it?  Or maybe all we got out of it was seeing a lady’s arm snap arm wrestling and a baby getting run over by a car.  IDK i majored in lit, not Philosophy, but if nothing else it was a bonding experience unlike any other)

There were rumors tho that I remember about a “real” version that gave you bitcoins or some shit if you finished it but that it was set up so the last video was illegal so in order to actually get the payout (which ive heard rumored to be anywhere from 100 to 100000000 dollars, usually changing depending on how broke the person telling the story was) you would have to entrap yourself into saying you watched [insert edgelord shit here, varying in extremity depending on who was trying to impress who but usually centering around a common theme that I don’t think i need to clarify any further] and that you would get the V& if you collected on it.
