on preemptive grief. on bracing for impact. on looking towards the horizon line and flinching

Hellum everyone, happy Mermay! For this ocassion, I present to you a very special drawing from the creator of the cartoon horror ARG Pendog Creative Library, Mirphy Mutt AKA @withkindereyesart (who I commissioned to as a gift for her birthday)! This picture is of me swimming in a very Deep Blue… lake!
I really love how this picture turned out, it's so fantastical and whimsical like that of an fairy tale cartoon from the 1930s~ I also really love Cody's gloves (even though they aren't webbed like his hands, he's still fast at swimming with his other fins and flippers)!
However, currently Mirphy is in a scary situation where she needs to move to Pennsylvania with her roommate (rent is cheaper there), otherwise she may will become homeless by August. So if you really want to help my favorite ARG creator live, be sure to throw in a donation to her Ko-Fi page:

Or support her project's Patreon:

Or spread the word!
You can also check out her said project here if you're interested (currently the website is down in preparation for a very SpEcIAl season finale update though it will contain heavy topics related to history such as where your toys/collectibles come from and the Tobacco Industry as a whole): https://pendogcreativelibrary.org/
For anyone who's new to it, Pendog Creative Library is a alternate history horror ARG about a website documenting forgotten creative ventures ranging from cartoons, mascots to puppets (there's even a silly newspaper goober! :D) and also lets us take a peek on an alternate America that is uncannily similar to our own. It's about how history is a living, repeating nightmare that we can't escape from and we all have to face it someday. It's really creepy and thought-provoking! It's also a collaboration project made by dozens of really talented artists that are also capable of replicating art styles from the time periods they were from in great accuracy that I honestly never seen before in other projects!
If you want more info about the project, you can check out this episode guide post here on Tumblr: https://www.tumblr.com/withkindereyesart/815049261546913792
