Gabriel and Claire get their revenge on Peter for the dares of the night before. Peter and Emma finally reveal what their plan for Gabriel and Claire has been. And someone is more honest than they mean to be, lost in a moment, and the other is left more shaken than they'll show.
This is one of my favourite chapters in the story! I'm so excited to finally share it! >.<

Rewrite POYW - Harry Hook x Reader - The Hook wedding
warning; some ~spiciness~ just before and after the reception bit ;3
your dress/Harry’s suit
=
Harry took a deep breath, spinning on his heel as he looked about the decorated venue he and (y/n) had chosen for their wedding. Which was in three days. Everything had been handpicked by him and (y/n); from the table cloths for the reception, to the last petal of the boutonniere for the suit wearers of their parties. Two years after he had proposed to (y/n) on vk day, it was finally happening, he was getting married to the love of his life, his soulmate, his true love.
Harry smiled, biting his lip in excitement. He knew he was going to bawl when (y/n) appeared in their wedding dress, he had never caught a glimpse of it but from how the girls had reacted to it, especially Evie; it had to be beautiful, it had to be, (y/n) had designed it after all. He looked around again at the ship, his ship; one he had saved up for since his first paycheck from Evie, and now it was going to be the place he got married. And then they would both sail the world for the honeymoon.
“hey, baby!” Harry turned with a grin, jogging to meet (y/n) halfway as she walked up the gangplank with Jane at her side, holding the wand in her hands. “mo Leannan” Harry cooed as he wrapped his arms around (y/n)’s waist, she laughed and hugged him back, echoing his words back to him. “you’re adorable” (y/n) chuckled, reaching up and patting Harry’s cheeks twice before turning to Jane “we all ready?”
Jane smiled and nodded, flourishing the wand and Harry grabbed (y/n)’s hand in excitement as in an array of sparkling lights the decorations for the wedding appeared around the deck, everything was perfect, from the flowers to the archway, it was perfect. “three days my love” (y/n) hummed, taking Harry’s jaw and kissing his cheek as he stared starry-eyed at the ship.
He giggled, full of excited nerves and he turned, pecking your lips quickly before dragging you around the now decorated ship. It was hard to believe, after five years of dating, you were getting married to the pirate you had fallen in love with. It was so surreal; just over 5 years ago Harry was nothing more than a character on a screen for you, and now he was a living breathing being in front of you, who was so deeply in love with you. Sometimes you thought you would wake up in your old room, 16 again and alone; but that never happened, you continued to wake up next to the love of your life.
Harry turned back to you, cupping your face gently and pressing a passion-filled kiss to your lips “I can't wait ta call yeh Mrs. Hook” Harry whispered out, giggling as you kissed his nose. “and I can't wait to be Mrs. Hook” you teased smiling as Harry took your left hand and kissed the ruby ring sitting on your ring finger.
He gave you that dorky smile of his, full of adoration and happiness, before leading you off the ship with Jane in tow, you had a few more things to get ready, and some bachelor parties to attend.
The one your wedding party had set up for you was amazing, Uma had rented out a beach house, and the entire party plus a few friends had a blast. From drinking games to just dance, it was all so much fun and you wouldn’t trade it for the world. All too soon it was the day of the wedding, and you were on the ship within the captain's quarters as Harry get ready at your house.
You traced the words of your vows, Dizzy behind you as she did your hair, Evie getting the last few bits of makeup, waiting until Dizzy was done before she got to work on you. You looked up in the mirror, smiling at the hairdo Dizzy had done so perfectly. “amazing work, as always Diz” you sang, turning and grazing Dizzy’s no longer slightly pudgy cheek with your fingers. She was now a 17-year-old teenager, 18 this November. She had grown wonderfully well in the last three years, no longer that naïve little isle girl who didn’t belong, but a bright girl who had an entire future in front of her in Auradon.
“thank you (y/n)” Dizzy sang, grabbing her tools and going over to Jane, getting to work on her hair as Evie finished up Uma and walked over to you. “ready?” Evie asked, talking about more than just your makeup. You grinned, bringing up your left hand to your lips “more than” you said back, voice giddy and Evie laughed, hugging you tightly. “I’m so happy for you both, you deserve each other,” Evie said, her voice cracking slightly.
“hey,” you chided her, smacking her gently “no crying or imma cry.” Evie giggled, wiping her eyes and lifting your chin with her fingers, getting to work on your makeup. As you all talked, Harry was in your house, rolling his eyes at Jay and Gil chasing each other around to get their energy out.
“yer gonna break somethin’ and I swear ta gods!” Harry called out, only half-joking as he fixed up his hair, leaning his head back as Harriet pulled at his collar. “I can do tha’ myself” Harry hummed, letting Harriet line his eyes with the black liner. “you’re gonna make yourself look like a raccoon, so no; you can't do it yourself” Harriet muttered, squinting slightly as she lined Harry’s waterline. Harry chuckled, grabbing his sister's wrist and pulling it away from his face.
“Thanks, Hettie” he hummed, thanking her for so much more than just his eyeliner, and Harriet looked like she was going to cry “my baby brother is getting married today” her voice cracked slightly as she spoke and CJ cackled in the background, bouncing over to her siblings and throwing her arms around their shoulder’s ”dawww Hetties getting all soft~ only you Harry~” CJ cooed, laughing as Harry fondly pushed her face away from him.
“Alright!” Sammy clapped his hands together, gaining everyone's attention “one hour to the ceremony, let’s get finished and in the cars! FG wants us there at most 10 minutes before and you and (y/n) have to do first look photos!” Harry smiled at your name, picking up the velvet box holding your ring and standing, sliding on his suit jacket as he walked out the bedroom door, blushing as everyone greeted him with a cheer.
His two junior groomsmen, Skipper and Sterling, now 14; ran to his sides, pulling at his arms towards the front door “come on” Skipper squeaked out, huffing as Harry chuckled, feeling Sterling move around to push at his back “you’re gonna be late!” Sterling continued the sentence “for a very important date!” Harry laughed loudly, and picked the two teenagers up, walking outside to the cars with the rest of the wedding party following.
He bit his lip as he buckled himself into his car, Carlos getting into the front to be his driver, he was getting married in an hour, to the love of his life; you. “fuck” he muttered, pressing his hands to his face to hide his dorky grin and blush. His sisters chuckled from beside him, Harriet patting his knee as Carlos drove them to the docks, just a bit farther up the shore than the ship was, where he and (y/n) would take their first looks.
Harry nearly bolted out of the car, gagging a bit as Harriet caught his collar, CJ wrapping a cloth around his eyes to prevent him from seeing you before the official first look. “we all ready?” the photographer asked, chuckling as Harry’s sisters tugged him along to the end of the dock, (y/n) being escorted from the other end of the parking lot, Uma holding her bouquet as Jane lifted the train of her dress.
Harry heard your laughter, and he felt his entire being jitter with nerves, excited nerves, but nerves nonetheless. He closed his eyes as CJ suddenly ripped the blindfold away, and he was turned to the ocean, the sun beautifully coasting on the horizon. He took a deep breath as he heard you walk close to him, the shutter of the camera going crazy as you reached to Harry's shoulder, grabbing it gently and turning him towards you.
You smiled, that smile that sent so many emotions through his chest that he couldn't handle it sometimes, and he nearly broke down; no he did break down. He sunk into a crouch, staring up at you in pure adoration, tears blurring his vision. You looked so amazing, beautiful, radiant, all the words to describe you that he couldn’t comprehend right now. “wow” he croaked out, and you laughed gently, taking some tissue from Harriet and cleaning Harry’s face and eye makeup.
“wow yourself babe” you teased, crouching in front of Harry and caressing his jaw; eyes soft and full of love, just as his were. And wow was right, he looked devilishly handsome in his elegantly pattered red tailcoat, the black vest below forming to him perfectly with a white cravat tucked into the neckline. He leaned up to kiss you but Harriet tutted him, and he leaned to the side to pout at her “gotta wait till; you may kiss the bride, Harry~” Harriet teased as CJ cackled silently. And Harry groaned, helping you stand and smiling at you, taking your left hand and pressing a soft kiss to your fingers.
“let's go get married my love” you cooed, taking Harry’s hands and leading him back towards the cars, curling your arm around his as the photographer continued to get his shots in. you kissed Harry’s jaw as you reached the split in the parking lot and lifted your dress as you made your way back to your car, Harry staring back at you as Harriet dragged him back towards his car.
Finally, everyone arrived at the ship, the guests were being escorted to their seats and both wedding parties were in the captains quarters, ready to lead the way down the alter for you, who was helping Lonnie fix up her corsage which had lost a flower a minute before. “thanks (y/n)” Lonnie breathed out, leaning over slightly as her anxiety eased. “I cannot believe I was that carless” you chuckled, patting her arm “no worries Lonnie, shit happens and we were able to fix it. Now come on, let's make sure the others are ready” Lonnie nodded, walking over to the twins and helping them fix their ties as you made sure Dizzy had her flowers.
A knock on the door signaled it was time, and everyone got in position, Ben and Harriet leading the way as best man and maid of honor. Ben smiled back at you, giving you a thumbs-up as you took a few deep breaths. Harriet did the same, lifting her chin up and holding her bouquet carefully as the music began, the door opened and the two stepped through. As aforementioned, Ben and Harriet led the way, with Uma and Gil close behind, then Jane and CJ, then Carlos and Evie, then Jay and Doug (The two standing very close and swooning over each other, making the guests laugh), and finally, Lonnie and the twins, the boys on either side of her.
Harry took a deep breath, smiling as Harriet clamped down on his shoulder with a proud grin. “proud of you Harry” she whispered, her eyes on the captain's quarters door as Dizzy started to walk through, spreading red flower petals about as she walked down the aisle. Harry reached over his shoulder and held his older sister's hand, smiling back at her with watery eyes. “thanks Hettie” Harry whispered back, standing straight as your entrance music began to play. He had already seen you less than an hour ago, but that didn’t stop him from being so nervous and excited to see you in your full wedding-dressed glory.
You had no one escorting you down the aisle due to your family not being in this world, but you didn’t care; instead, you had one of your dad's rings and your mother's bracelet to act as their replacements. And you looked radiant as the setting sun illuminated your path, the sapphires on your waist glittering as the sun reflected on them. You smiled at Harry, who was covering his mouth, tears streaming down his face as he looked at you with so much love; it had finally hit him you were getting married. And he couldn’t be happier.
Harry wiped his tears with a tissue Harriet handed him and stepped down from the upper deck to take your hand, the smile never leaving his face as you grabbed it and joined him at the altar. You handed your bouquet to Bena and turned back to Harry, taking his other hand and intertwining your fingers. “are we ready?” FG asked quietly, holding a small book to her chest and smiling as you and Harry nodded, never taking your eyes off the other. “wonderful”
She opened the book, cleared her throat, and looked at the audience, her smile never leaving her lips “Today we celebrate the union of (y/n) (m/n) (l/n) and Harrison James Hook, the strength of their commitment is clear, the power of their love undeniable” you smiled at Harry; stepping just closer to him, one of your hands releasing his to cup his cheek, chucking as he leaned into your touch. “Today, (y/n) and Harry demonstrate their devotion to each other by dedicating themselves to a life together and they show their respect for each other. By setting forth to honor the vows they have created today, their lives, which began on separate paths, will be joined as one”
Harry was practically bouncing on his heels, CJ behind him doing the same, excited to finally be able to call you her sister for real. And Harriet sneakily wiped away her tears, so proud of her brother who she had never thought would find a love like this, due to their father's upbringing. “(y/n) (l/n), do you take Harry to be your lawfully wedded husband, and travel the rest of life’s road with him? Will you love him, laugh with him, comfort him, honor and protect him, and forsake all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?” you wasted no time in answering that question, rubbing your thumb on Harry’s warm cheek “I do and I will forevermore” you practically whispered as if you were only talking to Harry, as if your words were for him only.
He chuckled, sniffing slightly; his ocean blue eyes bright and full of love. FG nodded, turning to Harry “Harrison Hook, do you take (y/n) (l/n) to be your lawfully wedded wife and travel the rest of life’s road with her? Will you love her, laugh with her, comfort her, honor and protect her, and forsake all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?” Harry bit his lip and nodded, jumping slightly when he realized he didn’t say anything “I do, and absolutely” Harry said, rubbing your knuckles with his thumb, and you beamed up at him, tears of your own burning at your eyes.
FG nodded again, looking to Ben and Harriet “May we have the rings?” the two nodded, and Harriet handed Harry a golden band, the metal carved with intricate swirling patterns, resembling the waves of the sea. Ben held onto your ring for a Harry for a moment longer, waiting until you were ready to slide it onto Harry’s finger. “as Harry and (y/n) solidify their bond with these physical items, they shall forge it with their words; who would like to go first?” Harry took a deep breath and FG nodded, stepping back slightly as Harry regripped your left hand.
You tilted your head slightly, laughing as Harry took another wobbly breath, another tear slipping down his cheek and off his chin “(y/n)” his voice cracked as he spoke and the guests and wedding party cooed at him. “With this ring, I vow to you everything that I am. My life, my soul, and all of my love. I promise ta be by yer side till the end of the universe, ta be loyal to you no matter what, and ta love you with all of my soul.” Harry slid the ring onto your finger and smiled, holding your hand to his heart, which was going miles a minute. “you have been the greatest thing in my life for the last five years, I wouldn’t be the person I am today if wasn’t fer ya. Because of you, I made a change fer tha’ better and I couldn’t be happier fer it. I wouldn’t change a single thing about our story, and I can't wait ta’ see where it goes” you nearly jumped into his arms to kiss him but refrained when FG gave you a playful look.
You took a deep breath and grabbed the ring from Ben, turning back to Harry with a smile that matched his own. “Harry, with this ring, I vow to always be by your side, I promise you will always have my heart, I promise to protect you and your family with all my being” his sisters smiled at that and CJ rested her chin on Gil’s shoulder to get a better look at you and Harry. “you will never know a day of hurt or sadness ever again, I promise to love you and cherish each minute, each hour, each day that I have with you; from now till the end of the universe. And even further beyond that” you slid the ring onto Harry’s finger, intertwining your hands “you are my heart, my soul, and my mind, but most of all you are my love.”
FG took a sharp breath, tears in her eyes as you took Harry’s other hand and turned to her. “(y/n) and Harry, we have heard your promise to share your lives in marriage. In the honesty and sincerity of what you have said and done here today, and in accordance with the laws of the state of Auradon; it is my honor and delight to declare you henceforth to be husband and wife.” FG took a slight step back, bowing her head a little “you may now kiss the bride”
Neither of you wasted any time, Harry’s arms circling your waist as you took his jaw and neck, pulling each other in for a passionate and love-filled kiss. The wedding burst into cheers, silver, red, and (f/c) confetti flying into the air with the aid of Mal, Uma, and Jane. You felt a wave of…something burst out from where you were connected with Harry, and when you pulled away you saw a small wave of shimmering magic coasting across the waves, FG behind you looked shocked but not surprised “Well I’ll be” she chuckled, gesturing for you and Harry to face the guests, who were all standing and applauding. “introducing, Mr. and Mrs. Hook~!”
You laughed loudly, resting your head on Harry’s shoulder as he kissed the top of your head, smiling into your hair. You intertwined your hands again and took your bouquet from Uma, walking with Harry back down the aisle and off the ship, making your way into the limos provided by Ben to head to the reception.
As you arrived at the reception hall, Harry pulled you off to the side, sliding his hands around your hips and pushing you against a wall, ghosting his lips against your jaw, his fingers gripping the fabric of your dress. You chuckled, trailing your hands up his arms and cupping his cheeks, pulling him into your lips. Harry groaned into the kiss, hands moving up to rest just under your upper torso, thumbs grazing the underside of your chest.
“Trying to get to the main course before we even have appetizers? How daring Mr. Hook” you purred, pulling away from Harry’s lips just barely, still close enough to where every word you spoke your lips brushed against his. He hummed, low and growl-like, his eyes dark with want. “who says we gotta do shit in order, Mrs. Hook?” Harry purred, leaning in and scraping his teeth against the curve of your neck that connected to your ear.
You chuckled again, lifting your hand up and pressing it against his face, gently pushing him back “as much as I would love to have a quickie” Harry’s face turned a light pink at the thought “you aren’t one for em as we both know, everyone would notice and we’d miss our cue.” Harry pouted, he had always been one to take his time, worshiping every bit of you; letting you know he loved you with every fiber of his being. So he sighed, nodding, leaning in to kiss you softly “yer right, but-“ you chuckled, nodding “yes, later.” He grinned at your words and took your hand, drawing you back into the light of the reception hall windows.
You quickly fixed any makeup Harry had messed up, smiling as you spotted a lipstick stain on Harry’s lips, but neither of you cared, it was a good color on him. You joined hands once again and entered the hall, catching up with your wedding parties as they waited to be announced by the DJ. Uma turned, a knowing look in her eyes as you walked up to her ”have fun?” she teased and you; unashamed, nodded and she burst into laughter, grabbing your shoulder to keep herself from falling “oh my god you two, it hasn’t even been an hour”
“We didn’t do anything” Harry pouted, wishing you had but-alas, no time for it. Uma hummed and nodded, not believing Harry’s words, turning back to the main doors as they opened; your entrance music playing throughout the large ballroom Ben had helped you rent out for your reception.
One by one each person of your parties was announced, starting with the best man and maid of honor, and then finally, you and Harry “and may I now announce, Mr. and Mrs. Hook~!” you grinned at Harry and tugged him into the room, throwing your hands up as the reception party cheered loudly, confetti popping into the air. There was a direct path made by the guests leading to the main dance floor; you and Harry made your way to it, laughing and waving at your guests.
You turned as you made it to the dance floor, taking the microphone from the DJ as she walked down to you with it. “we’re married~!” you sang into the microphone, lifting your intertwined hands into the air, laughing as the guests cheered loudly, Mal sending more confetti into the air. “thank you all so much for coming, and being with us on this day; it means the world to us. Now let's get this party started!!” the guests cheered again and the DJ started the music, resembling the instrumental of ‘set it off’. Ben, Uma, Gil, and the core four ran up to you and Harry, the nine of you standing in a semi-circle and laughing.
“ohay ohay, hey!” you all called out, laughing as you remembered five years ago; when the vks had chosen good. “you stole my line (y/n)” Jay teased, punching your shoulder lightly as he passed you to dance with Gil, who was pulling him and Uma to the dance floor which was being flooded with the guests. You stuck your tongue at him and turned back to Harry, kissing his jaw; who turned just in time to catch your lips, chuckling as you rolled your eyes at him “chancer” you muttered, taking his hand and pulling him to dance. “now come on~!”
Let’s set it off! Oh yeah~ Start a chain reaction, Never let it stop!
Let’s set it off! Oh yeah~ you can make it happen, With everything you got! Let’s set it off!
You had spent nearly the entire night away dancing, eating, and sharing memories with friends; and now you stepped back into your house, sighing tiredly yet full of happiness as you kicked off your shoes and dropped your skirt, Harry stepping in after you and doing the same with his shoes, stripping his jacket off and tossing it on the couch.
“honestly so glad to be home” you muttered, reaching behind you to unzip your dress, smiling as Harry’s hands pushed yours aside and took their place, undoing your dress as his lips ghosted the base of your neck “thank you babe” he hummed in response, helping you slip off the dress and hung it up, turning back to you with dilated eyes.
You rolled your eyes, holding your hand out towards him and chuckling as he eagerly took it, you pulled him in and kissed him; your other hand cupping his jaw. He groaned into your lips, and you pulled him into your room, laughing as he kicked the door closed and toss you on the bed, his knee resting between your thighs as he leaned over you. “time fer dessert darling~?” Harry purred, leaning down and pressing his lips to the curve of your jaw and you hummed, curling your fingers into his hair “well, what are you waiting for?” you asked, pulling his face up, your noses brushing together as you started into Harry’s ocean blue eyes; full of adoration for you. “dig in~”
Harry grinned, dangerous and hungry for you, and dove back down into your neck, taking your skin into his mouth.
And what a wonderful wedding night that was~

Lord Wynters’s room was decorated in darker tones than Barry’s, with deeper wood stains and fabrics ranging from plum to violet. It was meant to look luxurious, but with the shadowed corners, the drapes drawn over the windows, and only the glow of the fireplace for light, Barry found the space foreboding. His hand shook slightly as he held out the letter and the locket again. Then he ducked his head when the cover swung loose. He had come to Lord Wynters’s room for an explanation, but if the viscount would not offer one unprompted, he would have to convince him. A broken locket would do little to aid his cause.
It did not help that his heart was racing. And not solely because he had rushed upstairs.
“I brought your things inside after the rains stopped.” He swallowed past the dryness in his throat. “That was how I found these.” He curled his fingers around the items in his hand as though they were precious treasure.
“It is one thing to pluck up rubbish from the ground,” the viscount said, glancing at his writing box on the desk by the window. “But you had no right to go through my possessions.”
Barry refused to flinch at the rebuke. “You claim there can be nothing between us. But these—they tell me another story.”
“A story you neither understand nor have right to.”
“I will not apologize for looking. Because doing so brought me here tonight.” Barry stepped further into the room. “I am only sorry that it took me so long.”
Lord Wynters went to the table by the fireplace and poured himself a glass of wine. “How many times must I tell you—the past belongs in the past.”
“This does not look like the past to me.” Barry strode closer. He held up the locket beside his face. “I thought this was a painting of someone else. Someone you met in the years since we last saw each other. It was Felicity who showed me how wrong I was.”
“She has seen inside it?” The viscount’s gaze turned flinty. “How many more trespasses have you committed tonight?”
“She saw it after I broke the hinge. By accident.” Barry winced apologetically. “She recognized it as yours by the design on the cover.”
“Then Oliver will know by the end of the night as well.” Lord Wynters downed his drink.
“And Cisco recognized your handwriting.” The words were out of Barry’s mouth before he could stop himself. “He found me talking with Felicity and saw the letter. I had told him before… what you used to call me. But I never gave him your name!” He shook his head, realizing what a delicate position tonight’s revelation put his friend in.
Lord Wynters had to have realized that as well. He set the wine glass down. “Get out. If my sister’s wedding is delayed or called off, you will regret ever setting foot in this county.”

As always, the pretty art in this is by @hardwiredweird!
Laurent stood before the looking glass, showing him off while the tailor was fussing over him and his dress. Juliette and Jokaste sat behind him and looked at him, both of them with smiles on their faces. Juliette wore her light brown hair in a complicated up-do while Jokaste had settled on a much simpler style. Both of them looked beautiful.
Laurent however felt as if he was drowning in fabric. His skirts were enormous. For a moment he wished he didn’t have to do this the proper way but could elope with Damianos.
“Whatever you think, Laurent, you look stunning,” his sister-in-law remarked and Laurent huffed quietly.
“Well, that’s a comfort should I faint from overheating.”
“It’s almost winter, Laurent, don’t be so dramatic,” Juliette chided while the blond pressed his lips tightly shut. It wouldn’t do to argue that he wore at least enough skirts to keep him warm during the coldest of winters up in the north and they were decidedly not in the north now. They were in the south and it was warmer than November had any right to be. But they had to adhere to the traditions more than the average couple when the empress and emperor were both present.
It made sense, they had been at Auguste’s and Juliette‘s wedding to. When two ducal houses got joined, it was no small matter for the empire.

“Can you wait for me?”
Alya glanced at the door leading below deck, biting her lower lip between her teeth.
“How soon can you get here?” she asked. Adrien sighed from the other end. The connection was horrible – she could only guess how far away he was from that alone.
“I’ll be there as soon as I can,” he said. She sighed and waved her arm above her head, catching Ivan’s attention. She gestured to the door, mouthed STALL, and turned back to survey the rest of the deck.
“I’ll hold them off as long as I can. Just hurry,” she said. Her eyes widened as they landed on Max. “Or…where are you, exactly? I might have an idea.”
