Weekly Jam || Week Thirty, “We Sink“
All those eyes on me, color in my sheltered mind, as I fill the gap between you and I
I set the fire and I let it burn
So come on, let's go

Poetry Riot Prompt (Week Thirty)
The prompt for this week is:
unending thirst
As always tag your work with poetryriotprompt and mention the prompt (with a tag or in the poem). Have fun!
Week 30!
No picture for you, because I am not photogenic…
Symptoms: Starting to get a bit of heartburn, and my hips and back are really starting to hurt.
Baby’s Size: Hawaiian Pineapple (according to Ovia)
Maternity Clothes: I mostly wear sweatpants and Ryan's t-shirts, but when we go out, or I have to get dressed up, I've got lots of cozy clothes for my baby belly.
Ring on or Off: Off, but only legally. We might as well be married!
Stretch Marks: Absolutely covered! But I'm getting better about using my stretch mark cream - Palmer's rocks!
Sleep: I sleep all the time! And my dreams are getting even more intense than before.
Miss Anything?: I miss being able to be comfortable without fidgeting like a dog for an hour first. And by the time I get comfy, I usually have to pee...
Cravings: Chocolate and ice cream.
Aversions: Bacon and Ranch and runny eggs
Looking Forward to: Being done with the pregnant part, and just having the little one in my arms!
What I’m Loving: The time off from everything, and being able to spend all of Ryan’s time off with him. And all of the kicks and jabs! Even the ones that hurt are nice because they let me know that you're still doing okay :)
Week Thirty of Music Underworld - Caliban's Dream
★★★★★
And the light drive out our fears; And the joy drive out our pain And the nations come to greet us; waving open arms of waves of golden corn Ever hear us; Oh the spirit of the world; May your light be ever near us Always lead us from the dark Though we may fall; We will fly And with love; Hear the call
When I heard this during the Olympic's opening ceremony, my mind just blew up on how beautiful this sounded. I looked it up immediately, and I figured out Alex Trimble from Two Door Cinema Club was responsible for this, and I just died of awesome okay. Seriously, this song is ridiculously perfect, and then I figure out he was a part of it, and my music self just about died. You have to listen to this because it's literally one of the best songs on planet Earth. I seriously, seriously, seriously think everyone needs to have this in their music collection.
Week Thirty: Burgers
BBQ Pulled Pork Burgers
Recipes Adapted From:
Belzy's Kitchen
Since we did Hamburgers the other week for the Regional Challenge, we didn't want to repeat ourselves again this week with more beef burgers. Instead, we went with a less traditional burger, Pulled Pork, paired with a simple Arugula and Strawberry salad.
