Yesterday's Run
I went in my run yesterday, but I struggled a lot. Some of it was physical but most of it was mental. I was scared that I wouldn't be able to finish because I haven't ran in a while, so I stopped half way through and took and extra rest. Also, I was running with my boyfriend and he was running faster than me, so I felt like I was failing and it was really messing with me mentally. I am looking forward to doing this run again now that I know that I am strong enough to finish it.
Einundzwanzigster Arbeitstag
Heute war unser einundzwanzigster Arbeitstag. Die meisten Aufgaben sind schon erledigt, das nächste größere Projekt, das ansteht, besteht aus dem Errichten eines neuen Netzwerkes in einer Schule. Jedoch werden höchstwahrscheinlich erst nächste Woche damit anfangen. Unsere Aufgabe für heute bestand darin, Computer sowie Zubehör mit einer Druckluftpistole sauber zu machen und anschließend die Teile zu transportieren.
SHRED Progress Report: Week 5 Day 1 (Cleanse Week)
Oh boy, this week does not look fun. Not only do we have to add ground/milled flax seed into our daily routine, but we also must try hibiscus tea and 100% pure cranberry juice. Just when I got used to the lemon water...
As I type this, I'm eating Meal 2 which consists of a large green salad and about 8 oz. of chilled hibiscus tea... so far, so good. I've learned to enjoy salads more and the tea isn't as bad as I thought. It's a really pretty red color and the taste is light with a hint of floral. I like it a lot better than the lemon water with flax seeds I had this morning! The flax barely dissolved so I ended up with a lump of it at the bottom of my cup. Instead of doing that again, I'm going to try adding flax to my smoothies the rest of the week.
I'm most nervous about the cranberry juice since we weren't able to find 100% pure at Kroger. The best we could find was 25% not from concentrate cranberry cocktail. I know that's not the same, so I may try another store. I just don't want to screw up this week and have to do it over again :)
