we start and end with sunday, our queen of pentacles. loved ones seem to gravitate us— express your gratitude. there’s a power to hold within familial connections whether blood bound or not. it’s saying to me that we should accept the flowing energy that binds us together and nurture it. take what you know and put it back into the earth.

three of chalices shows teamwork, and a natural flow of life. we’re seeing our true selves after a long time in the dark. its a bit of a celebration, and finally a day for communicative efforts. what you don’t ask for you may not receive— so build the connections that may have potential to prosper. allow yourself to see everything for what it really is.

tuesday may bring a rush of energy or unwavering motivation and progress. there’s a force pushing you forward to your goal, and there seems to be a sturdy foundation. it feels like you’re protected, and your wings light as ever. if you get distracted during this time, know that the world around you will not stop for you.

which brings us to the magician, a master of time and manipulation. it urges us to persist in the goal we set for ourselves whether that be influenced by an internal or external factor. it feels self made and as if you knew exactly where the pieces would land. if an opportunity comes along— do not hesitate. it may be unfamiliar but you have every chance to make it what you want.

friday feels bountiful. i see a lot of energy being transitioned and appreciation will be shown. it seems you’ll achieve great results or what you’ve been working on may be completed. a possible payment or gifts of some sort may come your way. you’re beginning to trust yourself and understand the only way through is forward. it feels nice to be in control, doesn’t it?

shifting to the weekend and the end of our reading, it’s safe to say you’ve experienced a lot during this time. quite the pathway you took and as a result it feels like you may be of help during this time? like a cosmic coincidence. i’m sensing that you may be very brave at this time or be out in a situation where you will have to be. though it emits strength, passion, and actions. i feel great power here.

Five of Cups AKA Mister Freeze

There are a lot of sympathetic villains in Batman’s rogue’s gallery and one of the biggest ones for me is definitely Victor Fries. Poor guy’s wife was dying of an incurable disease so he cryogenically froze her in hopes of finding a cure for her later. Now I haven’t kept up with the latest with DC but pretty much all of Victor’s attempts at saving her end up in failure. He is the perfect representation of the Five of Cups because instead of seeing that he is still alive, that he can use his research to make sure others won’t suffer from the same disease as his wife he instead clings to the idea that one day she’ll be saved.

To me this card is saying that while things may not be going your way or if there is something that you want to have happen that isn’t that doesn’t mean it is the end of the world. You still have other things in your life that you can be thankful for. While there may be hurt and pain there are still things in your life that can bring you comfort. Focus on what you still have versus what you don’t.
