Tagging @bakedpotatomika, as you should be familiar with the Andromeda universe and I'm sure you have some projects dying to be shared!

I'll be sharing some Galactic History from my current long-form WIP- Andromeda, a sci-fi module for D&D- but it may change to its own unique system.

My Andromeda universe is massive, and I've only had the time to write so very little of it. I hope to share some more details, especially of some of the alien races me and my friends have created.

In the year 2802 humanity experienced The Decimation, an event where the human race was pushed to the brink of extinction. Earth had been rendered barren by biological warfare and atomic destruction, the last survivors packed into ten colony ships and set sail for brighter stars.  Humanity searched and searched for a new planet to call their own, one within a reasonable distance. They decided on the closest galaxy to Earth, Andromeda. The astronomers and scientists agreed, out of all the millions of planets, there had to be at least a few that could support human life. In the 2500 or so years that it took to get to Andromeda, many technological advances were made. The Synthesized were developed and gained sentience during the long ride over. In the year 8458, humanity conquered the Andromeda galaxy.  The ten colony ships arrived in different parts of the galaxy and spread from their homeworlds into tens of thousands of worlds.  Several colonies encountered alien races... and in some cases, have bred with them, as humans will.

Tagged by @fandomn00blr and I have something to share today lol whew! Just an old drabble that I'm rewriting and adding onto to turn it into a prompt fill for a discord chat I'm in c:

It was quiet. No, not the sort of tense silence that often fell before some terrible calamity, or like the dread-inducing nothingness of nights inside the walls of Kirkwall had been. 

What it meant, this time, was peace.

However, the absence of suspicious whispers, of inebriated shouting and glass clinking, or even the distinct clash of steel on steel wasn’t so readily welcome. One would think after days spent slinking through taverns or traveling under the cover of darkness, somehow avoiding needless conflict, that Hawke would relish the peace and quiet. Instead, it was jarring, ill-fitting and he was finding it a bit difficult to readjust.
