Weigh In Wednesday (The Complicated Math Edition)
Last WiW: 348.6 lbs (01/14/11)
So I started my Fitblr thing back last November and weighed 362. I dropped around 15 pounds through January and that's when things went to shit (see my post "Don't Call It A Comeback") and I put all of the weight back on and then some. This is where the RW, or Relapse Weight of 365 comes from.
This is my first WiW since January so I posted those other numbers because I feel like saying I lost only 6 pounds in 6 months DOES NOT tell the whole story. The REAL STORY is that I've lost 22+ pounds in just over 2 months through sweating, hard work, dedication, discipline, and motivation.
Yeah, I bold'ed it. I'm f'ing proud of it. I'm not proud of my relapse and admitting I screwed up big time. That's in the past now and I own my mistake so that's why from here forward the Relapse Weight (RW) becomes the new Starting Weight (SW). November was erased and reclaimed so there is no sense recognizing that other number any longer. It's meaningless. Like the 22 pounds I just crushed it's a memory and a thing of the past (plus it's a nice round number to remember).
Like I said yesterday I'm going through some emotions losing my close friend/gym buddy for the next few months (and possibly for good). It has my head in a bad place but seeing that number this morning lifted my spirits a little. There is nothing I can do about her leaving but I can focus my energy on me and improving myself.
It's a looooong journey but there is no turning back. Full steam ahead.
