I have a job interview and a counseling session, in which my counsellor will likely tell me I cannot have a job because I have to do outpatient this summer and my mental health comes first and blah blah blah while we work on "radical acceptance" identity exercises. I don't want to radically accept my depression. I don't want to radically accept that I am permanently defective and will always fall short of the life I really want because of my need to participate in "deep cutting" (I'm not allowed to say "self mutilation" anymore). Honestly, there is so little in me that wants recovery. More accurately, I just recognize it as a need in my life if I'm too much of a pansy to kill myself.
