Angelus had Hektor wrap up the errands rather quickly so that they had enough time to get to the small port of Amoudi Bay where the ferry would be docking. He had requested to accompany the man because he wasn’t exactly sure when Florian would arrive, given various factors with transportation like trains and ferries. When they arrived, Angelus exited the car and made his way to the slip. As he walked, local passersby greeted him politely, and he smiled and greeted them back. (Tourists usually gawked, but he ignored them until they spoke to him directly.) Once he reached his destination, he sat one of the large rocks there, waiting patiently as he listened for the telltale sound of a motor and water splashing against the sides of the boat.
When he heard it approaching, he stood up and grinned, clearly excited for Florian’s arrival. The pale, tall ancient was known to locals, but it didn’t prevent him from standing out like a sore thumb among the others that were waiting
