Carl on the Case
Okay, this is a weird coincidence, but I just saw the poster for the new Miraculous World: Tokyo - Stellar Force Special set to release at the end of 2025 and the Miraculous: Stellar Force Spin-Off set to premiere in 2027 and I was like… “Wait… That name ‘Stellar Force’ seems strangely familiar.”
And look at that… back on the 12th of November 2024, I started writing a Concept Idea for a magical girl comic named Stellar Force myself!
I put together character profiles with personalities, family, stand-in names, some starting lore and more. I never finished it, and honestly, never planned to finish it, publish it or even fully write and draw it out. It was just a random idea I had when I was in a massive Precure phase. But yeah, I named it Stellar Force too. This is such a funny coincidence.
What are the odds of this happening?
So my friend is seeing Backrooms on his own tonight and by pure fucking coincidence he’s sitting in the exact same seat I had when I saw it a few weeks ago
Important Lore
I keep forgetting to mention this, but one reason why I’m obsessed with The Flash is that we were also (mostly) unconscious for nine months. Except we beat Barry to it. Sept 2012 into 2013 for us. Asleep 21/24 hours. We were woken for meals (mostly liquid) and for basic care needs.
Obviously, we were like, “Wait, what?” watching the first episode. Then we were extremely jealous. All we got out of that were so many prescription drugs, most of which we were still on in 2014. Also, we weren’t able to get revenge on the pediatrician who almost killed us through negligence. If we’d gotten laser eyes or something, a lot of people would get a bit crisped.
Anyway, our continued existence is all because our former nurse grandmother brought our case to a specialist she knew. He then decided he needed to see us yesterday. He chose the right drugs to make our immune system stop killing us. Brilliant guy, honestly.
But, yeah, I continue to relate too much to Arrowverse Barry Allen because it is really damn weird to fully lucidly wake up nine months into the future.
Also? Most people were fucking assholes. You’d think almost dying would result in some sympathy. Nope. I’m not really surprised my dad’s family is terrible MAGA Catholics now. Because they didn’t even offer prayers. Weirdest thing. We had to rethink so many relationships. So many people just didn’t care at all, but we cared about them.
Honestly, I’m amazed it took Barry so long to have his Flashpoint crashout. Because we came out of that and had a bit of a mental breakdown. As you do, when you learn that only a few people have even visited your sickbed. Or your dad goes on a long vacation when both of his children are sick, with even the younger one suddenly having breathing issues.
Seriously, I know it was because of the costs of larger ensemble casts. Despite that, Barry came out of that with Joe, Iris, and his job. No other friends. No friendly coworkers. He bonded with his coma caregivers really strongly, because you do that. It was too relatable.
