AU Plot Bunnies which randomly struck me like a club

1. Top Gun Filming + Murder Mystery and Investigation AU with estranged Goose and Mav, and didnt-want-to-take-sides-but-unintentionally-did-and-now-Mav-is-again-more-or-less-alone-and-we-feel-like-shit-for-doing-that Flyboys after they're all called back to Top Gun for the filming of a movie based on the Navy (yeah, kinda meta)

2. Mission Impossible AU where the fight happens, but Mav is redeployed and assumed KIA after a dogfight in 1989 but is found alive by the IMF before the Navy and coerced-cum-guilt-tripped by Kittridge into joining the IMF by 1991 with the codename Ethan Hunt. And they collide again around 5 years later in 1996. Oh and he and Penny sleep together at a dingy club after the events of MI1 in this AU (around 1992) while Mav is trying to get over Prague and Penny is trying to get over him (muehehe) and thus Amelia is born but the Admiral is worried about Penny and her reputation (no one bothers to test for the father, just go along with it), but then someone tries to steal baby Amelia away coz reasons when a newbie IMF recruit rescues the baby and delivers her to Ethan because he's the closest one around. Ethan also doesn't bother to test for the DNA (till she's 5), instead naming her Amelia as well (thus her legal name stays the same lol). And they end up meeting Benji earlier because I hc him as being good with babies and toddler Amelia takes a shining to him one day so he takes care of her till the events of MI3 don't hit and Amelia grows up with stories of her dads Navy friends and the lady he had loved along with the IMF friends, so she often alternates between wanting to be an agent, a hacker or a sailor, like kids do. It's a messy AU

Annnnd the other thing I'm thinking about, which I blame ENTIRELY on @killian-whump ...

In a CS Waterworld AU where Killian is a merpeen, how would the scene where he's breathing for her by kissing her work?

He'd have a giant fish head. It wouldn't be good for kissing. Would he, like, have to swallow Emma's head or something so she could get air?

Also, that's like the ONLY scene I remember from the movie, so it would be the only thing I could write, so this is IMPORTANT.

So for the last few weeks I've had this random plot bunny that just won't leave me alone. Basically Tim has had enough and is pretty much low key supervillain now. He calls himself Marshmallow Master and Tam and Pru are his hench women (The Candy Queen and Razzle Dazzle respectively). And like he doesn't even really try to be all evil and world conquering but he's just so good at it that within a few months he's controlling all of Gotham without even meaning to. But he flies so under the radar that no one knows who he is or what his operation is about. Just that all the rogues are terrified of him, at first they never took him seriously I mean what kind of name is Marshmallow Master? But it's been months now and noones ever actually seen this guy but he's somehow managed to take over everything and I mean not even Red Hood is opposing this new shadowy criminal overlord so that's how Penguin and Two-Face and the rest know this new guy is serious - Jason of course finds out that Tim is behind it all and goes out of his way to spread fear and terror amongst the rogues. And Bruce and Dick and the rest of the bats have no idea wtf is happening in Gotham anymore - all of a sudden the rogues are terrified of some nut calling himself Marshmallow Master and they can't find a single thing on him - he doesn't leave any evidence, he might as well just not exist. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is it just me, or have other people thought it would be interesting if Sam & Dean were to meet their great uncle from Boston, who was a US Army field medic in Korea?

Rewatching Arc of Infinity tonight while I draw and had a thought:

Though obviously this idea relies on Gallifreyan technology that was introduced after this serial aired, I'm nonetheless halfway debating turning this into a fic.

- Time Lords vote to kill the Doctor to destroy his biosignature and sever Omega's link to their universe -- what if they'd thought to change his biosignature instead?

- He has Nyssa with him, and thanks to the Master's body stealing shenanigans, we know that unlike human brains, Trakenite brains are capable of containing Time Lord minds...

- So why not use the Chameleon Arch on the Doctor to give him a Trakenite body until they can track Omega down and stop him?

- Allowing the Doctor to change himself but retain his own mind and memories creates all kinds of interesting narrative possibilities...

- It thwarts Omega/Hedin's plot to take over the Matrix using the Doctor's execution as a pretext and may force them to take other, more overt actions.

- In the very least it sets up the Doctor and Nyssa for an awkward conversation or two about the implications of Chameleon Arch technology and/or Trakenite biology.

- Definitely new UST possibilities as well, if that's your thing. (Oh yes, I ship it.)
