This is the quote from Isabella in "Wuthering Heights" 2026 about Romeo & Juliet:

I guess this foreshadows blaming Nelly Dean for the entire "tragedy" of Catherine & Heathcliff but what kind of bonkers analysis is this? Yes, paid servants are to blame when rich people made very dangerous decisions. How dare Nurse and Nelly not save these people from themselves! And Nurse obviously knew that everyone was going to die, how could she not?!

Weird take #2

The one of and possibly the first examples of mpreg was in Journey to The West, and it ended in an abortion. Seriously, though, in Journey to The West, there is a kingdom called the kingdom of women. It held only women and a magic river that made anyone who drank from it pregnant. Tang Sanzang and Zhu Bajie drank from that river and in order to not die cause they didn't have the right parts. The monkey king had to go to a pond that caused abortions for anyone who drank from it and bring the water back. They did get the water and survived. However, this can also technically be the earliest case of mpreg in literature.
