Queering the Runes: Reclaiming Ancestral Wisdom in Rune Magic and Mythology by Siri Vincent Plouff is a new edition to my library. I think this is a great, different perspective on the runes. I can't wait to put this to use. I pick runes twice a year amongst other oracles on the equinoxes. Thank you to Weiser Books for sending it my way.

Twitter is for pedos

I left big tech a year and a half ago when I witnessed Twitter and Facebook allowing child porn to circulate, while instead of doing anything to protect children from sexual abuse and exploitation, removing accounts of people who were lawful and just had unpopular political opinions.

It was the right things to do. I will always stand by that.

The Gods are with me in this simple truth.

My book sales somehow didn't suffer. Then I left Instagram and Youtube for their censorship efforts because I am a free speech advocate and I cannot support any platform that actively works to influence public opinion for their political benefit.

I had a combined total of over 20,000 followers and it was hard, but I knew I was doing the right thing. People don't go on social media to buy stuff. Most people don't seem to like accounts that are full of ads.

But today (as I knew it would someday) I got a rejection for not being on mainstream social media. From WEISER!

They liked the project but believe that authors must be on big tech platforms. They overlooked my following on here, LinkedIn, Wordpress, Minds, and Gab because... IDK. Maybe they're more political than I expected, or maybe they don't care about free speech rights, or maybe they truly think social media is for car salesman authors.

Either way, as always, I once again feel vindicated. I can't explain it. Politics and publishing is a dirty game. It's never been easy for me, but I've been supporting myself off of my writing for nearly 6 years now and I will NOT be deterred.
