Anyone else who's watched The League of Gentlemen absolutely love the tension between Ross and Pauline or is that just me? Bc ngl every time a scene comes up with them in I'm stupidly happy over it. They hate each other SO viscerally, it's delightful to watch.

I kinda wanna write a fic about how the Talents affect the kids. Do people with Sight sometimes have to wear sunglasses because everything glows just a bit too brightly? Do Listeners get headaches from all the noise? If their Touch is particularly strong one day, is it overwhelming even thinking of stepping outside?

I can just imagine someone needing to lie down in a dark room with the best noise-cancelling headphones on the market, a blindfold on to help reduce vision, and a glass of water with strong migraine tablets that actually don't do much anymore because of the constant screaming outside their house every night. The Talents are a blessing and a curse.

Dudes. Please. HOW is it that not ONE person, as far as I can tell by a quick scroll through a YouTube search, has made an animatic for the first time Steve and Bucky lock eyes in TWS (you know the scene, the shield catch scene, that scene) with the song "I Know Those Eyes/This Man Is Dead" from The Count of Monte Cristo. I'll put the song here so you can listen to it if you don't know it, but I'll tell you now I sent this song to my friend who knows the scene and all the Marvel films but NOT this song or the context (quick disclaimer: my latest film seen as of rn is Ant-Man, so pls no Civil War spoilers bc I'm gonna watch that with them next week) and they came back saying that this song fits so well with that moment (and realistically the whole vibe between Bucky and Steve for the rest of the film).

Literally on rewatching TWS the other day, got to that scene and immediately said to myself (as if I was Steve, the usual kinda thing) "I know those eyes, this man is dead" and then I went and listened to this song bc I knew it existed but hadn't heard it in YEARS and then I got suckerpunched in the feels bc holy fuck does it describe them so fucking perfectly.

So. Animators. Please, oh please, I beg of thee: make an animatic to this. I also love the idea of interpretive dance or ice dancing/ice skate dancing (whatever it's called, that one) being done to this song, and while the voices are Mercedes and Dantes, the dancers are dressed as Steve and Bucky respectively.

(btw, if anyone knows of an animatic or smth similar of this song being used for a stucky thing, pls send it to me, I crave this like I crave water and air to live and I don't have the drawing talent for it)

Ngl, might trawl through AO3 later and see if there are any fics with this song as inspo bc if there aren't I guess that's my job lol.

I've been thinking about Ineffable Husbands again, but specifically them meeting their alternate selves (demon!Aziraphale and angel!Crowley) bc I remember reading a fic where that happened I think? But anyway, what if the Husbands as they are post S2 (so Ineffable Divorce era) meet their opposites and turns out they're in South Downs Cottage era *super* fast, like been there for duration of the show kinda deal (sort of like how Ineffable Bureaucracy happened in 4 years unlike the fucking 6,000 it's taken the husbands and they still divorced lol) and the husbands are like "how!?!?" and their counterparts go "uhh, bc it was kinda fucking obvious?? And we talked about it??" and then you see Crowley doing funny Picard face palm Star Trek meme and Aziraphale is surprised Pikachu.

Reasons to watch Lucifer (the TV show with Tom Ellis) other than Tom Ellis takes his shirt off sometimes.

I've only seen up to S2 E5 at the time of writing this so...yeah no spoilers pls, but these are the reasons I've found.

There is a scene very early on (I think S1 E4?) where, for just a moment, we see Lucifer being actually vulnerable with Chloe and she notices this and like "oh....ok, he's not just a playboy-" and I cannot express in words how much I adore that. It gives me "Christine taking the mask from the Phantom" vibes and the power switch there. It's just....it's lovely.

Also, says a lot about me that Lucifer literally doesn't have his top on in that scene and instead of looking at what's presented I focus instead on the feelings XD

Maze is fun.

She has knives.

Linda is very lovely and goes through so much shit just to be a really nice person and a great friends and a good therapist.

Trixie and her never-ending quest to be Lucifer's friend.

The fact that Amenadiel calls Lucifer "Luci" sometime is very sweet.

Also....Amenadiel has wings. We see fluffy feather wings and I'm a sucker for wings and how they look and if they actually look like feasible bird wings or not.

And I'm a sucker for character development so sorry not sorry but the amount of what Sean Ferric from Trekculture dubbed "cry face" is kinda fun to see. It's actually not too excessive, but it IS expressive (especially on Lucifer) and I'm enjoying myself.

Finally...

The fact that every single title so far has been a line in the episode it's a title for.

BONUS! Robert Picardo was in an early S2 episode, so any Stargate: Atlantis or Star Trek: Voyager/Prodigy or really any sci-fi fan reading this should know that it's super fun to see him in something not sci-fi related. Robert Picardo you are wonderful and despite my love for Voyager you shall always be Mr Woolsey to me.
