Wellness Weekend
Not everyone has the traditional weekdays off, but this is for everyone—as time is just a man-made concept anyway.
I’m very much into taking care of one’s own self. You have to take care of you because one cannot pour out from an empty vessel. Don’t be an empty vessel.
There’s also nothing standard about self-care and wellness. Ambient piano music and kickboxing heals just as much as black metal and pilates. We all vibrate at different levels. Let’s let each other be different..We don’t have to understand why one person prefers ambiance over heart-thumping growling, or badassery over sumptuousness. It’s not ours to understand. Stop acting entitled to understand. Just let it be.
Let me give you an example: I was taking a community collage course with my husband and it was the very last week. Our class suddenly had a new instructor come in. I’m still uncertain as to what her real job was there other than plugging her books that no one has ever heard of. Anyway, day 2 of that last week, her agenda was to go around the class, asking us, individually, what our “stress-relievers” are in regards to music.
Guys, she and I butted heads on everything, so of course she calls on me first. I told her my “stress-relievers” were listening to death metal. Now, was I trying to make her clutch her pearls? Yes. But the important part is that there’s no lie in my answer.
She, indeed, clutched her pearls, and began to lecture this 37 year-old Witch what “self-care” was. You bet your butt my husband interrupted her and basically told her to go fuck herself.
Well, not really. But he sure did lecture her on what self-care really is. Then he made her leave the room “for water” when he spoke about the importance of the LGBTQ+ Community.
Guys, she looked liked someone told her “No!” for the very first time and the words, “I want to speak with your manager,” was stuck in her throat. I laugh about it now, but back then, I wanted to be in a jumpsuit because I beat her ass.
As I was saying: this higher frequency will make it easier to spread joy, which will open gates for you to receive joy. Joy begets joy, just as negativity begets negativity.
I see so many higher vibrational individuals suffering in this low vibrational world. Because the higher the vibration, the more still we became. We crave stillness in this ever unstable world.
One of the biggest self-care habits that spearheaded my current lifestyle is not fighting. Just simply not fighting. I had to get out of the polluted waters that were making me sick. It was hard, guys. I’m not going to lie. I even trip up at times, but I’m not nearly as bad I used to be.
So, once this self-care endeavor is launched, things will start falling into place. I can’t guarantee how or when (because we are all unique), but you’ll eventually start recognizing the synchronicities. You’ll even start recognizing the synchronicities in other people’s lives.
I’m going to get a little old school and compare it to you defragging your mind like one would defrag a computer. You will be able to connect with the universe like one would The Information Super Highway, aka World Wide Web.
It will blow your mind.
It will be awesome.
