I saw we needed more little!Wels headcanons so I provide! :D

⚔️ Wels is a knight of course, that being said he loves to play pretend with the other littles and be the knight to protect everyone! Even if they’re just playing house he’s still included as a knight because excluding people is bad.

There was a slight conflict once when Wels wanted to be a knight and False did aswell and the only solution was to battle it out! False won because fighting in full metal knight wear is difficult, but by that point it was just a pile of giggles.

🧀 Much like the other littles Wels loves Mac n cheese but unlike the other littles he likes peas in his Mac n cheese. It not gross, you can’t even taste them!

🏰 Wels may have a giant castle he built himself but when little its kind of difficult to play in such a big space so he has a smaller wooden castle that he painted when little and was gifted toys to play with, it’s like a doll house but with a fire breathing dragon.

🐉 Pearl and Wels love drawing dragons together.

🔥 Although dragons are fire breathing little!wels don’t have a spice tolerance. No Wels, eating Sriracha won’t make fire come out of your ears… learned that one the hard way.

💥 CG!Wels still loves to play pretend with the littles it much easier to protect them when he’s not stumbling over his footing. 

Little!Wels

Wels is spending his break from building in hermitcraft drawing all the dragons he can. When he heard Pearl was going to be a firefighter he KNEW he needs to make the best fire breathing dragon hermitcraft has ever seen! Gem is a big help with these plans. Their combined love of dragons and want to bug Pearly will be the best combo.

(Not my original hc) Wels loves medieval style unicorns! Cleo sewed him one after lots of infodumps about them and Wels absolutely adores it.

While Wels loves his usual daily armor some times it’s too heavy when he’s little so he’ll switch it out for dress up armor. Which is a lot lighter.

CG!Wels

Wels has the PERFECT base for any little that wants to play pretend princesses, dragons, or knights. It has the perfect vibe every time.

Wels always has fun making art with his littles. While they’re drawing or coloring he’s making a “family crest” for them. Some times is season dependent drawing inspiration from their base aesthetic or character they’re playing. Everyone loves setting them as shield designs.

Wels benefits greatly from having routines, schedules, and clear plans laid out for him. However, he finds having rules to follow with consequences for breaking them very upsetting. The idea of doing something wrong makes him anxious.

One time Hels accidentally regressed while fighting with Wels because his armor was really shiny. When he realized he started crying, but luckily Wels realized what was happening and comforted him until he was big again

There's no honor in fighting a child, and there's no fun in attacking your nemesis while they're down. There will be plenty of time to get back to it after a good cry, some rest, and a snack.

Wels actually spends quite a lot of time regressed. He expends a lot of energy trying to hide it, however, and often comes across as irritable because of it.

Since the construction of the tunnel, Hypno has started finding Wels in his living room, regressed, and setting up for a sleepover. Hypno would've agreed to it if Wels had asked instead of sneaking in through the tunnel, but since Wels insists on being silly about it, Hypno is going to pretend to be inconvenienced.

Wels has a bit of an obsession with The Last Unicorn. He's practically memorized it word-for-word because he's watched it so many times.

One time, Wels found himself unexpectedly looking after a group of regressors, and in his panic to find an activity for them he decided on teaching them sea shanties. To his surprise, they ended up loving it, and now it's a common occurence for regressors to ask him to lead them in a sea shanty.

Wels is perfectly content to never, ever, ever tell anyone about his age regression. No, he’s not nervous about what they’ll think! Why would you say such a thing?
