Nine & Me
Ledisi did that Friday night! But the moment I am trying to hold onto in my mind was at the close of Act 1 when Ledisi, Kimberly Nichole, Wé Mc Donald and Crystal Monée Hall hit that harmony in “Four Women” ... I went to heaven. Soul stirring! thank you

PERFORMANCE ALTER EGO
My alter ego's name is Me. The reason why is because I wanted Me to be totally different to what I am now. If you don't understand why I chose Me, just look at the name We' and figure out what you can do with that. Me is very preppy. She loves to where buns of ponytails in her hair. When she has a bun in her hair, she makes sure that its as stiff as a rock. When it's in a ponytail, she makes sure that it's extremely flowy just like the dresses she loves to where. She loves pink, lace, and flowers. Dresses are the way to go when it comes to her. High heels are a pain to her so she would much rather prefer flats to wear instead.Pants to her are for boys and she is way too gorgeous to look like a boy. That is why makeup is an essential thing for her. Foundation isn't a necessary part of her makeup because she feels like her skin cannot be matched and the "flaws" are plain perfection. Studded earrings are great for her, too. She has that kind of preppy school girl style but it works for her. She loves to have the dresses that open up when you spin. She plays very hard to get with guys. She'll never say how she really feels about someone because she thinks it's fun to play with a guy like that. Me has a very smooth, deep undertone voice. She speaks as if she's gliding. She doesn't talk unless spoken to and when she does she doesn't hold back. She never looks at you she looks through you claiming that you aren't worth the energy and that she knows that you're looking at her. Even though she sounds extremely superficial, she does make great friendships with people. Her friends appreciate her blunt aspect of speaking when she actually gets the chance to and they love her confidence in who she is. I think that i become her more on stage than I do off stage because her voice comes up in every performance and although she can be blunt with it, she keeps it because she knows that we sound good singing.
Introduction
Hi everybody! My name is We' McDonald. The name you pronounce my first name is like WAY. I live in New Jersey, but I'm originally from New York. I just turned fifteen last Thursday and I am a sophomore at Passaic County Technical Institute. I love music! I feel like making music is helping people have a voice. I'm a singer, a dancer, and an actress.I also play piano, but i mostly use chords instead of reading music. I love the sound of strings. They are a gorgeous sound. They make a song much more dramatic that you could somehow relate to you. I like to write songs, poetry, or just write down how I feel for the day, hoping that it will become one of the two. I want to be a mixture of Emeli Sande, Aretha Franklin, and Amy Winehouse, but add a nice beat to all the flares of their style. I come from a very music bound family. My mother, my grandmother, and my grandfather were singers. My Godfather is Ray Chew. He helps me the best way he can with all opportunities. Last year I worked with Andre Betts and his staff for a month working with Reason and learning songwriting. I would love to expand on that and learn how to work protools correctly.
Something that inspires me are people. They inspire in the way that I see what people go through, from their happy exciting fresh days to the days when they're down and out and feel alone. I hope to bring all those feelings with my music. I do not have a personal video to show you, YET! But I do have an Emeli Sande that speaks to me. I can't wait to see you guys and meet you. I'm sure you're all very beautiful and creative people.
