First Date

@wendy-the-darling Jack honestly didn’t know the first thing about dating someone. Technically this would be his first time. And of course it made him feel like some sort of loser. He had just never had the desire to date anyone before. Until Wendy came along anyway. It didn’t help either that he was currently reconsidering his plans for them that day. Maybe going to the movies would have been better? He looked down at the basket in his hand as he waited outside of Wendy’s dorm. He still hadn’t gotten up the courage to knock. Despite knowing that she liked him too, this whole thing still made him nervous. Jack was, after all, known for messing things up.

{ Rewatching the Battle for the Book jatnp special and Hook & Wendy have a few small platonic-ish moments at the end one of which I want to share with @darlingbluebird & @wendy-the-darling:

“Why, for once, you were actually being nice.” “Me? Nice? Never. And don’t you dare go telling stories about Captain Hook being ‘niiice.’” And Wendy just giggles at him and his rough grumpy tones with, “Perish the thought.”

Valentines Day Diseaster

So this was it, he was actually going to do it. Jack had been fighting with himself over confessing his feelings for Wendy over a month now. Finally he had decided just to put up a deadline for himself. Basically deciding on valentines day for two reasons. One, by the time he had set this deadline it had been two months away. And two, a romantic gesture would be best considering that Wendy was pretty much a hopeless dreamer and romantic. Now that he was here however, he was dreading it. Jack was currently standing outside her dorm room with a box of chocolates in one hand and flowers in the other. He set down the two items before sliding off his book bag. Opening it, he took out his laptop and set it down, bringing up his playlist next on the screen.

The song Somebody to you by The Vamps started playing before he grabbed his flowers and the box of chocolates as he stood up. Jack decided to knock on her door for good measure as he waited. He was rocking in his heels nervously, his hands were sweating but he refused to just get up and leave now. He would see this through even if it killed him.

Ice-Skating Trip

Jack had invited Wendy to go with him to the ice skating arena that was located not too far from their college campus. Ice skating was always one of his favorite activities to do back home with his sister. It was a shame he wouldn't be able to do it this year with her too. The thought saddened him a little but he quickly shook it away. Going with Wendy would prove to be just as much fun, he was sure. Jack was waiting outside the arena for Wendy to show up. He currently wasn't dressed for this type of weather, considering all he had on was a hoodie. But the cold was something he always enjoyed feeling, and besides he rarely got sick from it anyway.
