And he’d be right to sneak away as far as possible..
It’d be only a matter of time.
Do you think the group would recognize him as a werewolf? Would Ryan?

As the black of night descended, as the moon swelled in the sky, Remus’ ears pricked at the distant howls. The liquor had muddled his mind, his vigilance slipping through slender fingers, before everything turned dark.
What in the ever-loving fuck had happened last night?
Remus racked his brain, desperate to remember.
His t-shirt was now clinging to sweat slick skin. He tried to peel it away, though the fabric pulled at his side, throbbing as if he’d pressed down upon an open wound. Remus ran his fingers down the side of his body, stilling just above his left hip.
The flesh there was hot to the touch, thick and swollen and filled with pus. Something was terribly wrong.
Remus peered into the mirror, his jagged reflection staring back at him. His eyes were bloodshot—burning red like the embers of a dying flame. The corners crinkling, deep brooding bags hanging beneath. He was the picture of poor health, exhaustion plaguing his face.
His sights drifted as he pulled at his shirt, further exposing the site of his pain. His flesh was mangled, bite marks embedding the wound as if teeth had torn into skin.
Face flushing with heat, vision blurring around its edges, Remus felt as if his body was floating thick through the air. He shifted forward, strong hands steadying himself against the sink, fingers gripping so tightly that his knuckles turned white.
Remus’ mind began to slip, plunging him toward an abysmal rumination.
Werewolf attack in Wales…
Flashes of sharp teeth and matted fur flooded his brain.
Sticky blood.
Sweltering pain.
Remus’ heart plummeted from his chest, his gut twisting and bending around itself. This could not possibly be. He'd be completely and utterly fucked.
With grit teeth, Remus took one last look in the mirror before throttling his fist forward, cracking his sickly reflection.
It couldn’t be. He wouldn’t accept it.
He was a wizard not some filthy, half-breed, beast.

How about an angsty fic where Remus comforts reader after getting bitten by a werewolf and is worried about changing for the first time? If it’s okay 👉🏿👈🏿🥺
I have mixed feelings about this one, I hope you enjoy it all the same, but I might have another crack at it at some point x
Trigger warning: VERY angsty, borderline suicidal thoughts, but no direct mentions.

It was supposed to be an easy mission, get in, get out, nobody would be the wiser. You knew you were getting in deep, but you had back up if you needed it, but Dumbledore had hand picked you because of how remarkably light on your feet you were, no one would hear you moving around the house.
The item you were looking for was contained inside a heavy, black wooden box and you could see it sitting on top of a desk inside the open door of the room you’d been told to find. It had two metal handles either side and you knew it would be difficult to carry out of the house with any kind of ease in keeping quiet. You didn’t know what was contained inside, all you knew was that Dumbledore wanted it to help find a way to defeat Voldemort. It was important in ending the war and that was enough for you.
If you were to bite a normal person will they become a werewolf
Cedar: Biting people is just a bad idea in general. Don’t do it.

It burned; it fucking burned. Adam bit back a building scream, and tried not to imagine the venom flowing through him—changing him. The teeth retreated, and Adam barely registered through the pain the werewolf retreating from Adam like he didn’t matter anymore. He felt sick at the thought that the werewolf really didn’t care about what happened to Adam afterwards.
His arm throbbed with a nauseating intensity. Adam doesn’t know how long he lays on the ground, fighting a scream, but eventually Adam realizes the sun is going down, and panic grips his chest. They’ll be expecting him to slink back home where they’ll pull him into their pack and never let go. He’ll be stuck with them forever. This was punishment; something to make him see his place, because where else could he go?
He’d never see Sam again except maybe in passing. Sam would be hurt, blame himself… unless… Adam shoved himself to his feet. It would be a risk, and maybe it would put them in even more danger, but it also could give him an out.

The scene kept playing in his head. Sam shoved against the locker by Ivan. Adam getting between them and deftly deflecting Ivan’s strikes much to Ivan’s increasing agitation. Ivan’s threat that Adam would pay when they got home before storming off. Adam shook it off as he turned to help Sam pick up his scattered notes, but Sam could see the fear lingering in Adam’s eyes. “Call me when you get home, okay?” Adam smiled and ruffled Sam’s hair. “Sure thing, Sam. There’s nothing to worry about.”
Adam hadn’t called, and it was already almost dark. Maybe he should get his dad to go with him to check on Adam? But at the same time, maybe he’d be bugging Adam and getting him in even more trouble. So it’s probably better to call, right? And if he didn’t get a response, he would tell his dad and get help and… hope he’s not too late.
Just as Sam was steeling himself to call Adam, there was a knock at the door. He ran forward it, almost dropping his phone, before tucking it in his pocket. He threw the door open, and Adam fell forward. Sam barely caught him. Blood was dripping from his arm. From a bite mark. Sam’s stomach churned as cold fear gripped his spine. He clung tighter to Adam and screamed, “Dad!”

Malcolm threw his whole focus into bandaging and cleaning the bite mark on Adam’s arm. His hands trembled, and he kept fighting back nausea. Adam spent so much time here that he was practically his second son. He knew Adam’s home was… rough, but it was different having to patch a bite from—likely from a werewolf.
He let out a rough sigh and leaned back. Sam met his eyes, still holding Adam. Tears are in his eyes, and it makes Malcolm feel worse about this whole situation.
“This is my fault,” he whispered, and Malcolm shook his head firmly.
“No. It’s the werewolf that attacked him’s fault. They’re the only ones responsible.”
Sam looked doubtful, “If he hadn’t stood up for me, they wouldn’t have bitten him.”
Malcolm froze. “Sam… do you know who did this?”
Sam looked away. “I think his family called for it. Ivan said he’d pay when they got home.” He shifted uncomfortable. “I think a lot of them are in a werewolf pack from what Adam has said. I mean he hasn’t said it outright….”
Malcolm took a deep breath. This was worse than he thought. “Then he’s likely a werewolf now… if he goes back they’ll coerce him into joining the pack. We’ll wait until he wakes up, before we make any final decisions. But we might be leaving in the morning—somewhere no one knows.”
“I can pack. Adam has a bag ready-to-go in my room,” Sam volunteered, and Malcolm hated the fact that Adam had prepared for a situation like this.
