Letters from Penpals and ideas for my adventure vehicle begin. Looking forward to talking with people about ideas for converting an old 4x4 dump truck into my home on the road. This is the next step in my life as the one I moved down to Pueblo for fell apart. I’m slightly leaning towards buying a plot of land first in which I can always return back to… Hopefully something with a P.O. box so I can keep tabs with all my snailmail friends. I would very much enjoy finding a place in Custer County. I’ve been tipped off that they don’t have any building codes as long as electric/sewer are on point. Of course there is still a building permit but I’m willing to give them that.
Building a new life in Westcliffe
Yesterday after melting down about the situation in life I've been faced with. The universe must have heard the distress coming from me...Weirdly enough, since the more upset I am the quieter I become. I posted my resume on every community board in the town of Westcliffe. It's about an hour from my house right now, but in a place I fell in love with after my first visit. A man named Ben called me and left me a couple messages, without response yet... about a job he has for me, building a house. How perfect could this be considering those are the skills I need to better myself with for my own house building later down the road. If I can make enough money by the end of the month I might be able to put the down payment on a plot of land as well and have somewhere to move too. I wouldn't say everything has worked out yet, but it most certainly is blossoming with opportunities before my eyes with a little hard work. I really need to open up my Esty store today so I can make a little extra to help fund my escape from the demons I've surrounded myself with. I thought moving down to Pueblo was going to be a wonderful thing but it's been very hard and stressful on my mind and body. Looking forward to the future but focused on the present of today.
