There is peaceful social disobedience happening in southern Vancouver Island. To protect the traditionally scared old growth valley/ watershed called 'Ada'itsx, which, translated into English as 'Stoney Creek' commonly know as "Fairy Creek" As a company & family we fully support all of the Indigenous led direct actions to protect old growth trees & water taking place throughout Turtle Island. We began to be aware of this particular project two years ago as artists when we were invited to take a tour of old growth trees in "Eden Grove" that were being flagged. I had a big shift from the experience of sitting with the elder trees. I was given the clarity & courage to let go of a project I put alot of work into that was not serving me... ...
