Day 26 - Eldritch

He has no reason to be in Gotham City. Yet, here he is. The city herself reminded him a lot of the City of Angels; Los Angeles. Perhaps a little darker in mood and dangerous for citizens to be roaming without a care. Kaine had ended up on the unfortunate end of things. Hunger drew him to a small store where he gathered some items; instant noodles, beef jerky, and a couple bottles of water. It is not his choice of foods, but does well in a pinch. Fast forward a couple of blocks and Kaine finds himself dealing with a solo mugging. The  mistake the poor sod made is pausing after he had driven the knife into Kaine's side. It resulted in a busted nose after Kaine had swung his arm and connected the peak of his elbow with a face. A sickening snap and a shout from the attacker tells all. Broken nose, bloody and trickling to the pavement.  "You sunovabitch!" The man yelled, taking an extra knife and pointing it Kaine's direction. "Gimme all ya got! Wallet! Now!" He barked. Kaine's amber eyes darken, the flaring pain of the knife pinned into his side is masked with anger and an intimidating front. The light of the street lamp illuminate his eyes some, almost in an animalistic way that give a dim but haunting gleam. It is enough to cause the attacker to back off a bit.

So Eclipsa chose well; Globgor wasn’t the horror history made him out to be. He actually ran away from Mewni when he realized he was free. And witnessing it firsthand made RIVER change his mind about Globgor. River Johansen-Butterfly, ladies and gents.

And WTH, Rhombulus?! If anything, at least the rest of the Magical High Commission knew that the stunt he pulled in de-crystallizing Globgor just to re-crystallize him again was a bad one. There’s hope in the future that Monsters would be accepted even more as the Mewmans accept Eclipsa’s family.

And now we’re expecting a few things as SVTFOE draws to a close:

Starco or TomStar? Until the series officially ends, this is still up in the air to me.

What the heck is Mina going to do now that Eclipsa is officially cornonated and Globgor and Meteora are accepted?

What is going to happen in the very last episode, titled CLEAVED?

What brought about the story from the Spiderbites family that Globgor ate Shastacan? Was Shastacan really eaten? Festivia’s chapter in the Book of Spells indicates that this was what she was told (that both Eclipsa & Shastacan were eaten by monsters), and St. Olga’s master file showed that Shastacan was alive when he gave up Eclipsa’s real daughter. What happened between giving up Meteora and Festivia taking the throne?

Would you look at that...I made a new Puff. A Rey Puff!

I’m on a Rey-makin’ roll!

The challenge here is Rey’s hair, which is deceptively simple for a Puff. It doesn’t have the fun bangs that usually makes a Puff (if you have tried to make a PowerPuff girl avatar, you’ll see what I mean). I decided to fall back on Rey’s TFA look (the tri-buns are implied). I want to revisit this tutorial and attempt to draw another Rey puff to show off her hair buns.

I am excited with this sudden burst of artistic inspiration. I hope it lasts this week.
