i have a really specific scene in mind, with batt beefing with friend and like theyre stepping closer to friend and saying something like "well BIG surprise for ya, if you dont BEHAVE, if you dont LEARN YOUR PLACE, YOU'RE goi-Eughhh," because they tried to put their finger on its chest. but they didnt know it was Goop so they accidentally sticked their finger Inside friend. and now their finger is sticky and gross and stuff. and they cut themself off mid sentence bc they were startled and disgusted by it. i kept having this vision and have nowhere to use it so heres my message in the bottle

hhmmmm, preds and prey having something akin to subspecies that manifest as different animalistic mannerisms.

preds with dog-like mannerisms who are usually sociable and excitable (and loud, possibly obnoxious). preds that will do anything for a belly rub, full or not, who love physical affection overall. some are like lap dogs, some are more aggressive, loyal golden retriever preds, preds that play tug-of-war with someone trying to pull their friend out of their throat.

preds with cat-like mannerisms that are also playful, though tend to laze around more and are usually not as loud. preds that only allow people they trust to rub their belly, but lose their mind over head scritches and gentle strokes. preds who purr loudly and knead and headbutt when they're content and full. preds who laser focus on things that catch their eyes (which also reflect light)

ofc for both of these, preds licking each other or prey as a sign of affection and dominance. this licking being referred to as kisses by prey and pred alike.

prey with rabbit-like mannerisms that are bouncy and soft. prey that instinctively rest their chin on things they own to leave their scent. prey who bounce their legs when anxious, especially around preds. prey who instinctively bite and/or get the urge to run away in the presence of even friendly preds.

prey with rodent-like mannerisms who are more prone to physical affection and are usually more active. prey that sleep bundled under a mound of sheets like a burrow- with a safe pred, retreating to their preds belly could be their burrow. prey who play dead, only to retaliate to preds who still try to eat them with their own nasty bite. prey that love to climb and chew on things and swing and run around because it's fun.

honestly you could probably switch these up with rabbit-like preds or dog-like prey and it could apply to any animal idk I like the idea its sillyyyy
