Aroace Grace is really important to me,,, that's me in there!!! My baby boy!!!! I can look to a media and see interpretations with my flags and colors and labels!!! I can go through a fandom with the knowledge that this character is accepted as this identity!!

And I get it when people go "oh but aroace is a spectrum blah blah blah" but like. Explain to me *deeper* why this character who you say does not feel romantic or sexual feelings feels that way towards a person. Why must Grace fulfill this role of loving partner towards literally anyone. Yes, you can love the people around you and form qprs with them and whatnot, but tell me why this character who is specifically aroace according to everyone here filling out allosexual ideals of partnership? Is it not enough to be friends with people? Is it not enough to care for them deeply even if you aren't romantically involved with them? Tell me oh great and majestic project hail Mary fandom why does the character that's supposed to look like me, someone who does not and will never have a romantic or sexual partner, not look like me when you depict him? Tell me why I can't have the representation I wish I had even in my fandom. Look me in the eyes and say that friends isn't enough.
