Bruce/Selina (Gotham) - yall know that already, they’re the best. And perhaps one of the most linear writings in the whole show, with great fluidity from the many canon versions to the “new” version
Stalia (Teen Wolf) - my poor ship </3 deserved so much better writing (I don’t mind their breaking up, I just wish it hadn’t been stupid)
Tara/Christian (Dance Academy) - the best on-again-off-again couple amirite? I kinda love the push and pull relationship they have and how they always make the other better at the end of it
Mileven (Stranger Things) - the tiniest of the ships *_* they are just too cute and I can’t handle
Captain Canary (Legends of Tomorrow) - such an incredible “maybe. perhaps. almost.” in the history of the dctv :/
I tag @shadychef @littlecajunlady @amantidellaluna @mareskawho @tardisjournalpages and @loveisour-resistance and whoever feels like answering this :D
Okay, last one. Tara (DA) - the secondhand embarrassment question because OMG she gave me a moment like every episode! I loved her but she caused me physical pain sometimes.
Gee, Tara is the queen of embarrassing herself! But the biggest moment to me would be the too loud “LOVE YOU” in season 2. That was just too much. hah
It started of simple. Two innocent, tiny words put together in a calculated condescending way after he walked into the studio and delivered a whole bunch of new choreography that was supposed to be innovative.
Abigail knew from the first count that Ethan had created it thinking of Tara and Tara only, but he Academy’s sweetheart was busy with a job – an actual dance job – so he needed to cast someone else and from the moment he saw her among the others, he assumed it wouldn’t work.
“Wanna bet?” Abigail dared and Ethan sighed. He had seen that girl feud for year and she was great, but she wasn’t the kind of dancer he was looking for.
“You won’t like it, Abby.” He assured her. Because it was edgy and sensitive and she had always been a tad of a cold ass bitch.
He didn’t need to say it, though, for Abigail knew damn well the kind of person she led people think she was. Other than that, she was willing to prove herself that she could do edgy and sensitive. If Tara Webster could book a job with her terrible knee, so could she, with a convincing performance and perfect technique.
Those two innocent, tiny words weren’t a dare to Ethan or any other people. It was her own desire to be larger than herself.
Those two innocent, tiny words on a Saturday afternoon took Abigail Armstrong far.
a/n: oh, look who she brings! gosh, how I miss this show! okay, this is a mess and I probably messed up the timeline, because I don’t rewatch season one in like three years or so, so I’m sorry any mistake. also, remember that I’m not a very good writer even in my mother tongue, so you can only imagine how it turns out in english. anyway, hope you like it!
Send me a pairing and a number and I’ll write a drabble!
Not her kind of fun
It was her every day nightmare – thehip hop classes. Sure she knew that to be in the academy was no sweet pie, buther first year was just straight down a rollercoaster of emotions. Abigail haddefinitely not signed up for this and a hip hop marathon wouldn’t cheer her up.
However, it was all part of herfinally coming back to ballet classes. After her break down, she was forced tohave extra hours of a subject she was lacking in order to reassure her place inMrs. Raine’s class.
And that’s how she ended up havingSammy once again bossing her around. In hip hop.
“You’re not even trying!” he snappedwhen she messed up another turn.
Abigail rolled her eyes. He messedup pas de deux all the time and noone seemed to care about it very much. But if she didn’t make a very impressive back flip linked to some sort offootwork, she was the bad guy. See how the world is unfair?
“I don’t even like hip hop!” sheprotested, another thought in mind. The teacher couldn’t come that afternoon,so he left the responsibility all for Sammy. Abby was pretty sure she could convincehim to skip class so they could make out somewhere else, maybe even catch amovie. If only she used the right argument…
“You know this is important for yourrecovery.” He reasoned, which was quite a point, but she was having none of itthat day. She wanted to have some fun, break the routine, and hip hop wasn’ther kind of fun.
“Important for my recovery is tohave you not messing up the pas de deux.”She means, it was so different –amazingly different – to partner with Christian, or even Sean. Deep down, shecould blame Sammy for all her problems, but she liked his face way too much toreally bring it up. “Hip hop is just some BS they use do fill the gaps in ourschedules and I highly doubt I’ll use it in my professional life.”
After all, she was there for thejazz and the ballet and the contemporary, she sure would use it in the Company, but hip hop would only come in handy if she was to go to Broadway or something, which she was so not planning to do.
Exasperated, Sammy scoffed.
“Gee, Abigail. It’s like you like toset yourself to fail!” he protested. “It was the same thing with English, samething with not accepting help when I told you to eat and now with them givingyou that new opportunity. You always want to be oh, so perfect, but when it matter for more people than justyourself, you choose comfort. That’s not the Abby I’d rather see.”
It was very unexpected and Abigailstepped back, her arms crossed and eyebrow raised. She was starting to rethinkthat thing about making out with him, maybe forever. She was even rethinking ifshe liked his face all that much.
“That’s not true.” She said. Couldn’thave said anything dumber, she thought.
“It is.” He reaffirmed. “I think you’rejust lazy.” Sammy said, a new sparkle in his eyes, as if he was building achallenge. “I think you just don’t have enough stamina to actually try and havefun.” He teased and she knew she had taken the bait.
One thing you gotta know is thatAbigail Armstrong liked challenges and more than that, she liked to win saidchallenges.
Her posture changed completely, ready to prove him wrong. Sammy would not leave with the last word.
“You see,” Sammy continued “it’sokay not to like a dance style. I have a really hard time with acro, I admit!” heput his hands up in surrender. “That doesn’t mean I don’t try. Five is justfine, but I rather getting by with a seven at the end of the semester. Right now, with hip hop, I think you won’t even get a four.”
It was the final push, she knew it. She knew it. But she was such a loserfor competition! She’d see one and she’d just jump right into it, setting upnot to fail, but to win. Every single time. It was that way her whole life andeven after everything, that wouldn’t change.
She looked up at him, chin up,defiance all over her posture. Stepping closer, eyes sparking, at that pointshe had only one thing in mind - on top of the empty next room where she coulddrag him to, on top of all the bad things she could do to (and with) him, ontop of his stupid face that she would never admit she liked so much -

name a fandom you know I know and I'll tell you all those things

Right, I also have this theory that NBC watched Dance Academy. If you watched the second season of SMASH, you can notice that some character’s death was very similar to Sammy’s and the following episode has this subject of grief and flashbacks like the last two episodes of season 2 has. And then, they hire Thom Green in Camp. And Dena. And Tim. Jordan. Issi. Who else? They definitely saw it, I can’t be the only one who noticed!
