We had this for dinner tonight. Time consuming but holy mother it is gooooood. I loved it. Mitch loved it. Ryan loved it. Ayla didn't eat it - but she hasn't eaten dinner in about a month, so no surprise there.
What I ate on the day that is today.
Breakfast: cup of rose and vanilla tea = 3cal / 14kj Lunch: broccoli and white bean soup + mejool dates = 305cal / 1275kj Snacks: banana + coke zero = 104cal / 435kj Dinner: red wine beef casserole + white rice + leftover cheese sandwich = 580cal / 2429kj Dessert: rice with milk and sultanas = 174cal / 727kj Total = 1166cal / 4879kj Goal = 1200cal / 5023kj Verdict = not too shabby. Still under what I was aiming for. I still didn't binge eat which is awesome for me! I feel yucky in the head, but I think I'm getting sick.
Another amazing day in Thailand. I tried to eat healthier today but it all went to crap pretty quick. Here's what I had: Breakfast: cucumber, carrot, mini bananas, fruit salad (pineapple, watermelon and dragon fruit) and a cup of tea Snack: NINE pieces of Lindt almond chocolate (sooo so soooo good!) Lunch: garlic and pepper beef stir fry (it was only 70 thb so I can't really complain, but it wasn't great) Snack: a couple of Pringles Dinner: Pad Thai Dessert: milkshakes with baileys (omg, the best bloody thing you'll ever taste!!)
I'm sick of my own negativity.
So almost every day my “what I ate” post starts with something like “bad today today” or “ate too much crap” or something along those lines. I’m over saying that, so from now on I’m going to end my posts with: 1. What I did great today 2. What I should work on tomorrow
Without further adieu, here’s what I chomped on today:
Breakfast: small glass of milk + strawberries = 96 calories
Snack: fudge (from a cake stall) + bit of colleague’s chocolate bunny + celery with cottage cheese = 147 calories
Lunch: leftover beef stroganoff with pasta = 387 calories
Snack: coke zero = 0 calories
Dinner: 3 slices of Crust peri peri pizza (my Step Mum shouted me dinner, so couldn’t really say no… or at least that’s what I’m telling myself = 701 calories
Total = 1330 calories
Total expended = 1780 calories Deficit = 450 calories
What I did great today - I ate through a lot of leftovers and had some calcium for breakfast. I also managed not to scoff the box of chocolates I was given as a gift at work.
What I should work on tomorrow - reducing carbs and saying “NO thank you” when diet ruining foods are offered to me.
