i actually go by Ruin these days! but i’m not sure re: ring. something subtle i think. i have some fake ones but they’re really blingy and it’s a bit too much on a day to day basis. plus, i already have a nostril piercing. i just really love the way septum piercings look - but i think it might be that i love them on other people? idk idk

Oh Gigi. I’m so sorry that you are struggling through such torment. Please know that I’m thinking of you. I kept checking the Australian fire maps to make sure you and DoonaRose were okay.

Just to be clear, my parents weren’t born in the 70s. They were in their teens/early 20s in the 70s (don’t know if that was clear)

But either way, age is just a number. Especially on here.

every now and then i still think about it. i daydream about writing an original thing, putting it up here. but i am, to be really honest, absolutely terrified of what would happen if i did and it went unnoticed, or worse, was terrible

there are still people who love what i used to write, who still think of me as a good writer - by which i mean, i still get kudos and comments on the old stories, so as arrogant as i feel and sound saying that, i think there’s some small shred of truth to it

but i can’t escape the awareness that anything i write now could compromise that memory. and i don’t think i’m ready to lose it yet. it’s the only good thing about myself that i have to hang on to

Honestly and ironically the whole pregnancy thing has left me MORE emotionally stable than usual - like I’m usually solely responsible for the women-with-PMS-are-overly-emotional stereotype out there, so I was expecting the worst, but it’s been... fine, really. But with lack of sleep and my usual paranoia and anxiety thrown in the mix, it’s still not a good combination, apparently.

It seems like the lack of sleep continues to be a problem, but fortunately the rest has backed down, including the people, so it’s a lot better now :).

it's such an excellent treatment model. i tried incorporating aspects of it during my last internship at school b/c i had a client that really would've benefited from it (i'm 90% sure she had bpd) but it was hard doing it without proper guidance so i think this will really help.
