Guess who’s gone down too many fandom rabbit holes? I NEVER saw myself entering the transformers fandom and drawing robots but here I am.
I love Diblmetta’s interpretations of the TFA characters, so I used elements of that in my art like Blurr’s long chin and that Shockwave doodle. Feels right.
And yes, your honor. Cybertronians are marsupials.
The rise of the cat-ified transformer images has inspired me to post the ones i made approximately six months ago. I don't have the entire cast, but I have a substantial amount of ones that my friends asked me to do. The idea was to keep them in semi-natural colors while giving them patterns that correlate to their design at least a little.
Wheelie is definitely the Bumblebee of season 3 in the G1 show. I know Bumblebee was in the seasons after the timeskip too, but I'm still standing by my claims. Wheelie is just Bumblebee if 99% of his dialogue was rhyming couplets. And I'm not gonna lie when I say that I kind of love it. Wheelie is about as normal as a character from Alice in Wonderland being in an action show. But that's kind of how my brain reads him, and I love it.
I love rhymes and rhyming poems. I'm not good at making at making them, but I really appreciate them. And his rhyming really speaks to me. Bumblebee is a marketable character who I've always been aware of. But Wheelie feels like he deserves more marketing too. Not like we need cheap capitalistic commercialism, but if hasbro's gonna make it they can at least give me the adorable rhyming bot.
finished batch number 1... warrior catsifying transformers.......
Wheelie is a strange child by the border who speaks only in riddle and rhyme. i want 1 random adult warrior to be terrified of him. i always imagine wheelie has like this weird hoodie/hat thing that he can hide his face in when he gets embarrassed so i gave him the wheeljack head shadow
Hot Rod is Boxelderpaw... i wanted him to have a bug name. Boxelders are warm and fuzzy to me personally. i nearly gave him a weed name to be funny.
Arcee is Cichlidpaw... i wnated to give her a fish name. she deserves it. shes really good at climbing and likes to ambush people from above i just think its funny. she ayte 1 brick
Springer is Springpaw but he gets to be called Springer anyways... hes green. i was going to make him a chimera but then i got lazy....
im deciding on whether or not i want them to be canon clan cats but if they are im stuck on RiverClan or ShadowClan...
So I saw that wheelie gets no love so i wanted to request a platonic wheelie x reader :D it can be either a oneshot or headcannon about their friendship etc. If you have no clue what to write you dont have to!!!^^
Dont forget to eat and drink something!!!❤️
Firefly Field
Anon, I can only guess that Wheelie gets no love because his rhyming is hard to write. I know you said headcanons were good but now I’m committed to writing dialogue and making it rhyme.
Warnings: None, it’s just friendship fluff

“You’ve never seen them? Ever?” You asked the orange mech, floored he’d been on Earth for this long and never seen a single firefly.
“No, these little bugs that fly at night have never really graced my sight,” he replied with an excited smile.
“Personally, I think they’re one of the coolest things on Earth,” you said, dragging Wheelie by the servo out into an empty clearing right before sunset.
“If you only see them in the dark, then why are we already in this park?”
“To build anticipation,” you explained. “It’s fun to watch them slowly come out before it’s completely dark.”
“I’m sure it will be fun either way. So I can’t complain, I’m happy to stay," Wheelie nodded at you before settling on the ground to wait.
It wasn’t long before you could point out little pinpricks of light moving amongst the earliest stars. You watched Wheelie to see his reaction, and you were ecstatic seeing the look of wonder on his face.
“Wanna see one up close?” you asked.
You stood up when he nodded and walked out into the field to catch one of the little bugs. It took a few tries, but you got one and brought it back to Wheelie.
“Okay, it’s not gonna stay here long,” you warned before slowly opening up your hands.
The orange mech peered into your hands, gleefully watching the creature crawl around before flying off, blinking away.
“I don’t want to jump the gun, but do you think maybe I could catch one?”
“Sure, I think you can do it,” you nodded. “You have to be really gentle though, and make sure you leave enough space between your servos so you don’t squish it. People tend to forget that part.”
Wheelie watched you catch a few more, always making sure to see them before you let them go. Eventually, he felt confident enough to give it a try. You giggled watching his clumsy attempts. He’d move slowly out of caution, but then he’d miss the bug when they flew off too fast.
“Here,” you said, walking up to him. “How about I catch one, and then pass it to you?”
“Oh a good idea indeed, that’s exactly what I need.”
“Hold your servos like this,” you instructed, showing him how to cup his servos, leaving just enough space for you to pass your hands through.
You quickly caught one and carefully put your hands between his servos before opening your fingers to let the little guy crawl out. You pulled back when you were sure he had it and Wheelie cautiously opened his servos to look in at the little bug flying around and blinking.
“Wow,” he gasped before watching the firefly float away. “What a lovely sight, watching this place filled with light.”
“Is it your new favorite thing about Earth?” you nudged him.
“I really do like them a lot,” he turned to you with a smile, “but you my friend, still hold the top spot.”
