Name: Cantera Fall (Refers to the cantera opal, a type of mexican fire opal that is often seen to be orange in colour with green-blue iridescence.)Gender: FemaleGeneral Appearance: Long, messy brown hair, light brown skin with bright amber-coloured eyes. Has her mother’s soft, round features of her face, while she has her father’s eyes and smile. 5′6″ with Ember’s rigid, predator-like posture and way of walking, but Amber’s head tilt, and eye roll. Personality: If there’s one thing notable about Cantera, she has inherited both of her parents’ selfishness and ruthlessness, a dangerous combination in a very deadly dose. Although she has Ember’s cunning, and natural charisma, the girl has the potential to be volatile, and sensitive. Loyal to almost a fault, she will stand up for her friends, and is almost sacrificial in the lengths she will take in order to protect her friends. Special Talents: It wasn’t a surprise that fire came easily to the daughter of a burning Regent and a flaming Maiden. But with such natural dust casting skills, came expectations, and pressures. She heavily relies on dust, and her Semblance of amplifying the effects of Dust and crystals within a certain radius, developed alongside that. Though at her father’s insistence, she has basic hand-to-hand training as well as in archery, sword fighting and other ordinary weaponry. Who they like better: AmberWho they take after more: EmberPersonal Headcanon: Cantera’s conception came from an unlikely set of circumstances, if the thought that her mother’s very assailant was to eventually fall for such a man, and he too in return had crossed either’s mind, it would’ve been conceived as ridiculous. But a comatose Amber had not been saved by Qrow, but rather, taken hostage - as it turned out, stealing a Maiden’s powers took a longer time than they had initially anticipated, instead working in consecutive stages. And then, as they say, the rest is history. Also Cantera eagerly wants the powers of a Maiden, in order to further be powerful enough to protect those whom she loves. Romanticizing, she doesn’t quite yet grasp the consequences, or what it means to be a Maiden.Faceclaim: Bianca Lawson
