Is there a book that you have read, that had truly stuck with you and you find yourself thinking of it often? Where the Crawdads Sing by @authordeliaowens is one of those books for me. I often think of Kya and the marsh, they are almost real in my heart ❤️ When I passed by this marsh I knew I had to bring this book with me to take a pic! While this is not a Carolina shoreline marsh, it is a beautiful New England marsh surrounded by gorgeous foliage and full of wildlife! I wish I had the time to explore this marsh as Kya did with her marsh. I finished the third book of the Harry Potter series and while I wait for the fourth book to be delivered I am starting to read this gem. I know, how could I start a different book while I am in the middle of a series. I was skeptical at first as well. Now, I am truly amazed at the artistry of this book. I am one chapter in and blown away by the detail and expert choosing of words to describe what is taking place in the small marsh by the sea. The author is honestly one of the best I have seen do it in a while, and has a very impressive resume. I highly encourage all to take a chance to read this book (I am not throwing a sales pitch!). I will be posting more updates as I read. I must say I am eager to turn each page!
