computah how to tell my mom I devoutly follow Catholic beliefs and want to be involved with the Church but that I'm absolutely not at all a bigot like a lot of other Christians bc I'm very progressive and educated and also simultaneously a heathen. Computah how to get confirmed even tho I already had a protestant communion whilst coming from a non conventionally religious family who only participated in a church for social reasons. Computah how to explain that I simply just love Jesus and the whole shebang to my mom who already venerates the Virgin Mary but opposes Christ worship and the message of repentance bc she seems to think Christianity tells us that we're inherently bad and that we all like to let people like rapists out of prisons and welcome them in churches bc of "forgiveness" (that should not happen btw). computah I'm scared.
