I quite like Snily as platonic although it’s also wonderful as an unrequited romantic thing. I think I like the idea of an asexual Snape but that’s not necessarily what’s in the text.

18. If he’d lived, how do you think he’d go on with his life?
In some ways, that probably depends upon Potter doesn’t it? If Harry felt that everyone needed to know the truth about his actions or no, and if they needed to know ASAP or if there’d be some kind of sealed record for a while. Given that the ending is supposed to be happy and somehow defeating Voldemort nearly instantaneously got rid of all the sympathetic baddies and death eaters that had seized the entire government, there’d be no need to have a skilled double agent to go back into the cold. This of course is nonsense, but I guess Kingsley had some kind of thing going on or something I can’t remember.
So he really would be known as something of a war hero, wouldn’t he? Being a bitch to a student or two pales in comparison to helping defeating the big baddie and helping free the world from heavy-handed tyranny. There’d be no greater expert on the dark arts and defeating them, so I think he might end up as some kind of expert in them. The best would be a role where he has time to do his studies and inventions but also having some time to do practical things.
The curse is gone after voldie’s death so he could be the Defense of Dark Arts professor! Especially if he can get some wizard teaching assistant to do the classes for the early years who are just too baby for him.
23. How is Snape with animals?
I think he’s really bad with them, I always thought that would’ve been his worse class the taking care of magicial creatures class, because he doesn’t exactly have the background to realize you need to be nice and patient with some things. I think cats just instinctively bite his hand so he ends up avoiding all of them!
24. What music does Snape listen to?
Classical, perhaps even muggle classical since we don’t really know what kind of music or art there is in the wizarding world. Like Glenn Gould variations on Bach, etc.
