Living in LA means I’m utterly spoiled for live comedy, but tonight I saw the first installment of Lou’s new Which Wish show and it was maybe the best live comedy I’ve seen in my life??

I went in thinking it was going to be a 2-person improv set, but it turned out to be a fully-produced variety love letter to Zac Oyama!! Can you imagine?? (You don’t have to, actually, since I think you can rent the recorded livestream on the Dynasty Typewriter website.) It felt like we were seeing a pilot for an entirely new kind of late-night show, and there was this magical lightning-in-a-bottle energy in the room.

Anyway the whole thing was delightful and surprising and I can already tell I’m going to lose my voice tomorrow because of how hard I laughed tonight.
