arms cross over her chest as jp slumps in the chair in the corner of joel's room, avoiding the stern look that's levelled at her by the younger man. they've been having issues for a few weeks now, and if jp was at all honest with herself, she's very much the cause of almost all of them, but she is not very honest with anyone, including herself. it's not really fair to joel, especially since they're not even dating.

"yeah, i meant that you should go to the gym or get a hobby, not bring an ugly twink home and flaunt him."

his gaze flicks over to joel before she's glaring at the ceiling again, pouting even more and crossing her legs. she'd maybe said some out of pocket comments to his hook-up. maybe.

"i don't know why you're so upset with me, he didn't even tell you his real name."

" Ginger huffs an IRRITATED breath that borders on a growl, moving past Brigitte to yank the handle of the refrigerator open. She was starving even after being out all night, but that was nothing new. It happened every month around the full moon and every time it was the same spiel from her younger sibling. As if she was concerned she was going to fully have some sort of mental break or never come back from her transformations. They had both escaped the BORING town they grew up in, leaving everyone and most importantly, Ginger's crimes behind. Several shitty motel rooms in other equally shitty towns later and the two had settled and managed to find an apartment they could keep up with them both working. How much longer that would last was entirely up in the air.

Ginger grabs the plate of leftover pork chops, peeling back the plastic wrap and GREEDILY devouring the food with her bare hands. It was far from what the beast inside her was craving, but it would have to suffice. " I handled it all myself, you don't need to worry. "

Just as Terzo is more than prepared to SCOLD Derek for being so blatantly rude, the director pops back into his line of sight. His entire face flushes and his breath is stolen from his lungs when he notices one of Derek's ties in his hands. It takes until the other is actively slipping the accessory around his neck and tying it that Terzo manages to find any words, a bit surprised by the act of kindness. " Oh. Thank you, you're a lifesaver. Apologies, mio caro, my mind is all over the place tonight. "
