Indulge in the rich and savory flavors of this TGI Friday's inspired bacon cheeseburger infused with Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey glaze. It's a perfect dinner option followed by a sweet dessert!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 4 hamburger buns. 8 strips of bacon. 1/4 cup Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup water. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Lettuce, tomato, and onion for garnish.
Instructions: Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. Put the brown sugar, ketchup, water, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small saucepan. Add the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey. Mix it well and bring it to a low boil. It should be cooked for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it gets thick enough to glaze something. Take it off the heat and set it aside. While the glaze is cooking, cook the bacon until it's crispy in a different pan. Take the bacon out of the pan and lay it on paper towels to drain the extra oil. Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each burger patty in the last minute of cooking to melt it. Grill the burger patties until they are done the way you like them. For a minute or two, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until they're just barely brown. Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun. Then add a burger patty with melted cheese, two bacon strips, a tomato slice, and a few onion rings. Put some Jack Daniel's glaze on top of each burger. Add the other half of the bun on top, and if needed, use a toothpick to hold it in place. For a tasty meal, pair your TGI Friday's inspired Jack Daniel's bacon cheeseburger with your favorite sides.
