Birth of Red Diamond

ok i tried drawing red diamond in  @ask-whitepearl-and-steven! art stile but i couldn't make it amazing like they do.

i bast his gem off of the Moussaieff Red  the world’s largest red diamond  which weighed in at 5.11 carats and sold for $8 million at auction in 2001! Red diamonds are commonly known as the most expensive and the rarest diamond color in the world, even more so than pink diamonds or blue diamonds, with very few red diamonds having been found. and Since they are the rarest color, it is difficult to find them in large sizes, witch is way i made him the size of a human.

the idea of red diamond comes from the idea of him being born from Stevens blood? if you read any storys of a Greek god birthed you understand. an example being is how Athena was born fully grown and in a full set of armour from Zeus forehead.

red diamond or Blood Diamond is Steven's wish for a protector a shield that will protect him from the harsh reality that is his life also his ideal man😏,not that he would know that.

he's white Stevens version of lion. but  most importantly has a physiological body similar to Steven. the biggest difference between red diamond and other gem and Steven himself is that if his gem is cracked it's the equivalent of being crushed under heavy object or if his gem is ever removed from his body he's dead theirs no putting it back.

Personality

From his gentle tone and graceful bearings, one would never guess that hes the Diamond equivalent of a god of war that possesses a fierce combat power. With his excellent instincts, Red can deal with even the most drastic of circumstances without abandoning his reason – a proud and logical fighter. However, there is a sort of ’emptiness’ about him. he sees himself as a tool and see no problem in seeing himself as just a tool and will not bend his belief for anyone not even his maker. Red was not educated like a regular human or gem and dose not understand feelings well. He has feelings but cant perceive or express them.

It's one of my older Headcanon.

White Dimond didn't overtake Pink Pearl because she acted out of line, but because she was destroying herself.

After Pink Dimond hurted her, she started to think it was her own fault and started to slowly shatter.

White Dimond couldn't let that happen.

Pink Perl was a great Pearl (it would make sense that only special Gems can talk with the Dimonds and fewer be around them for longer) and it would be a shame to lose such a gem.

So she overtook her and gave her pearl to Pink Dimond
