Finished reading white palace and was not expecting to literally start crying at the end, like thick tears streaming down my face. My heart aches, people! The film’s ending was so much more nicer and pretty and wrapped up all neat in a shiny bow for the viewer — the book? Jesus Christ, no one talk to me. I hate ambiguous endings (no I don’t) give me assurance! Tell me that they’re going to be together forever! Don’t make Max suffer! I need to watch the film again now to make me feel better, though post read I do wish we had a version with brown skinned, pair shaped Nora now, she is my Venus.
