Just White Prophet and Catalyst things

I think this is the first time we see Beloved actually look through the web of futures, just checking to see. I wonder if looking without getting lost is a he learned during their time apart, or if they have simply grown close enough now that Beloved will allow Fitz to see.

The scene always wrenches my heart. Pulls it out and stomps on it. The reread is no different.

I love the casual exchange where Beloved closes their makeup container and hands it over, and Fitz just instinctually tucks it away. This isn’t Golden/Badgerlock behavior, but Fitzloved instead <3

Then our Beloved just outright says to Fitz that he *has* turned his glamor towards him, and Fitz hasn’t noticed or responded. And Beloved does mourn that [and Fitz does not acknowledge this statement afterwards]. I mourn it too, Beloved.

A part of me wonders if the glamour Beloved talks about here is a part of White prophet physiology or if it’s training at Clerres. If it were, one would expect the Catalyst to inherently be affected by the Prophet, but perhaps the stronger the catalyst, the less then effect.
