Dude I read the rodrian scenes in spirit bound and then skipped to TIS. Nothing is read in order after the initial read. Hahah x
I just cannot read the Rodrian scenes, because I love Sydrian so much. For some reason my eyes just skim over it. And every time I DO read a Rodrian scene I have to read a little Sydrian scene after. It's kinda annoying, and I think it's the sole reason I'm not really into the VA books.

a question i get asked a lot is for sydrian fanfic recs and these are some newer ones I've come across as of late that I think deserve some spotlight
Tightropes (a series of one shots) - only one so far but it's great!
Revenant Chronicle - one of the most interesting sydrian fics I have come across, I don't even really know how to explain it but it. is. delightful.
Undone - a dark!sydrian strigoi!adrian AU, flawlessly written (by the lovely Kirsten) you will not regret reading this one it's AMAZING seriously the writing is just. UGH. WHY aren't you reading it I WONT HAVE ANY EXCUSES
Life For Rent - a college based AU/AH. really refreshing and different take on sydrian's relationship (written by the beautiful Tegan) if you're in the mood for something new and left from canon (in a good way!!!) check this one out.
Re-Educated - sad times re-education AU, not that Brooke needs the press, but I can't leave her out, she's just too perfect.

I have a headcanon that because Hopper is bonded to two people instead of one, he gets an extra year (which is a year extra for Sydney to search for a spell to keep him around forever!)
