Savannah was put into foster care the day after she was born when her birth mother abandoned her at the hospital. Her being adopted is basically common knowledge but it isn’t something that she talks about too often.
She was adopted around the age of four by her current parents Greg and Aiden Cassidy. Both men were born and raised in White Lake. Greg is a broadcaster for the local sports radio station and Aiden is a pediatrician.
Savvy has been cheering since the day she was old enough. As soon as her parents signed her up, there was no looking back from there. She had a natural talent that has only progressed as she got older. People continue to be blown away by the skill the girl possessed. Just because a lot of it may have come somewhat naturally doesn’t mean that she doesn’t work hard at it every day. She takes her roll of cheer captain seriously. It’s not unusual to find her tumbling around just about anywhere. She’s a bit of a workout fiend as well because she wants to be in the best shape possible.
Don’t think that just because she’s got the flawless bouncy ponytail topped with a perfect bow and a smile that she’s fragile. She’s also been boxing for years and has no problem kicking ass if it comes down to it.
Savannah is a perfectionist. It’s not unusual to find her in the gym until the late hours of the night. This pertains to her grades as well. Thankfully she retains material easily due to her photographic memory. Her parents expect a lot out of her, and she aims to please. Sometimes too much. To call her a people pleaser would be extremely accurate, putting other people first is the norm for her. She just honestly wants the best for everyone. It also means that yes, she wants everyone to like her. Her outgoing personality and natural charm usually makes that pretty easy but let’s be honest, you can’t please everyone all the time, right?
Because she is extremely disciplined, when she lets go, she really lets go. She likes taking the time to escape and just be a normal teenager without putting so much pressure on herself. The expression good girls are bad girls that haven’t been caught can almost define her.
One of her favorite things to do lay out on the roof of one of the old buildings in town looking up at the stars. She also likes to escape to the local park. There’s just something calming about the swings.

juniper was born on march 1, 2004, in white lake, ma. she has no knowledge of her birth parents, so i don’t plan to give them identities unless that becomes relevant to her plot. the only interest she has shown in her birth parents has been to figure out where she comes from and particularly because of biology class projects in her freshman year of high school.
(tw: abandonment) her mother gave her up at birth, either because she was ill-equipped to be a mother or because she did not want to be. luckily for june, that left her with the opportunity to join the schuyler family.
vincent (vince) and penelope (penny) schuyler were in the hospital that same day to welcome their son lincoln. having asked about the baby girl in the nursery with no last name, they discovered june’s story and decided their hearts and home were plenty big enough for one more than planned. they planned to name her june after juno, the roman goddess of love and marriage, to celebrate the love of chosen family, but juniper really stuck out to them in the baby name book (plus they still got to use june in a way!). auden was chosen for her middle name after penny’s maiden name.
juniper and lincoln are twins. you cannot convince them otherwise.
halfway through their freshman year of high school, they moved to a bigger house in the next town over, but that meant transferring from white lake high to eastwood high... june didn’t have a problem with it, though. she seemed to have an easier time finding her place at eastwood. now they’re back at white lake because of the fire, though, so...
june has always been drawn to art, and she has tried her hand at many styles, but her favorites are markers and painting (specifically watercolor and oil).
her big passions, though, are astronomy and softball -- she plays soccer, too, as goalie :)

Angel was born in White Lake but very early on, her father moved her to Boston, where she grew up and has lived all of her life. Until now. They’re moving back to White Lake because her father’s mother, who Angel has never met has passed away and they’re moving into the house she left them.
A good portion of the time living in Boston, Angel spent more time with nannies than anything because her father was constantly working. She attended private school from the time she was in Kindergarten. Angel is used to the city life and you can see that this is a long way from home. even since she could remember, mk has had ... well ... issues with her mouth. she’s the type of person to blurt something out before thinking, accidentally ask a question before realizing it might be inappropriate, or accidentally mumble a curse word in front of a child
like her brother, she also inherited the elusive ‘musical’ gene - she’s taken piano lessons since she was four, and has always loved to sing. growing up, she was always the star of the school play, and loved being front and centre
it wasn’t just music that mk loved - it was also the arts in general. for years, teachers would get angry at her for scribbling all over the corners of her
unfortunately, besides the musical gene, mk also inherited two copies of the cystic fibrosis gene - meaning she was born with CF, a genetic disease that causes various symptoms, but mostly lung issues
on the bright side, through always doing her treatments (and going to dance classes - which she also loved), for the majority of her life she was very healthy. in fact, you would have no idea she had a serious illness just by looking at her!
but having a so-called ‘normal life’ came to a screeching crash when, the summer before junior year, she contracted a very serious bacterial infection in her lungs and was hospitalized for two months
she eventually recovered, however, her lung function dropped significantly, and she was told that she was going to need to use supplemental oxygen every day, which made her, for the first time, incredibly angry and frustrated with her disease
health-wise, she is stable right now, but she hates all the stares she gets having to lug an oxygen tank around with her all the time. the lung damage caused by the infection also affected her ability to sing, and it’s hard to dance with an oxygen tank, so she had to kiss singing and dancing (and being a part of the school play, which she adored) away
because of this, she’s poured all of her energy into art. when she’s not busy, she’s in her room or outside, painting or sketching or using charcoals - she does it all. she uses art as an outlet to express herself and get away from the reality of her life
her parents being divorced is another hurdle in mk’s life, since whenever she is in the hospital sometimes both her parents are there at the same time, which she worries will bring about more tension in their family
because she needs her treatment equipment and oxygen, unlike caleb, she doesn’t visit her father very often - at least not for overnights. she usually only sees him if they go out for ice cream or he pays a quick visit to her after school
she has a very close relationship with her mother, as she has basically taken care of her her entire life, and now that mk really needs help with things, she relies on her mom for a lot

Jeremy was born into a family of success. His father is the CEO of a large tech company, his mother a former model, and his older brother, Bradley, was the school’s star quarterback when he was in high school.
His father’s company, being based in India, meant that he was frequently away for business, so he was more or less absent for most of his childhood. Despite his mother not working, she was also somewhat distant and was more focused on getting her nails done and going to tennis lessons than playing catch with her son.
But this never really bothered Jeremy - he was given an immense amount of freedom at a young age. His parents payed for whatever he did, and when they went away on trips he didn’t just throw parties without getting busted, his parents actually encouraged him to.
Unlike his family, Jeremy didn’t have much aspiration to become the biggest and the best. Sure, he played football, hockey, and baseball - but he definitely wasn’t the best out there in any of them. He was pretty good in all of them, jack of all trades, but nowhere near the level of his older brother, who is in college and trying to go pro in baseball
Jeremy also has a younger sister, Elody, a total math whiz a year below him who is completely set to get into an Ivy League. Jer has nowhere near the smarts of his little sister, and she can be a little pious at times, but she is the person he cares about most in the world and would 100% take a bullet for her.
Jeremy always says he doesn’t do bad things ... bad things just happen to people when they mess around with him. Jeremy is pretty worried about his future seeing as his grades are sub-par and he doesn’t have anything on his college applications that really makes him stand out, but he really wants to go to an Ivy League business school so that he can become a CEO like his father
Soooooo his school advisor encouraged him to get a job to show ‘work ethic’ on his application and being a typical teenage boy, Jeremy chose a pizza delivery job and he is absolutely TERRIBLE at it. Like he legit just speeds around town nearly hitting everyone, drops pizzas upside down so all the cheese falls off of it, and makes drug runs in the middle of deliveries so half the time he takes too long and the food is cold
