Unfortunately this is what happens when you're a bite risk. Captain thoroughly enjoys things that take away either senses or methods of defending one's self.

Poor thing panics so hard whenever restraints like this get involved but what can one expect from a 'declawed' cat?

EDIT: Like a fawn learning how to walk...

So after Zeno loses his power and finally gets back to his feet after his tumble with Leon to confront Victor, there is this lovely wobbling of his legs/feet as he's trying to keep balance.

Like you can see him put weight on the heels of his feet and shifts from foot to foot.

There's a point where he locks his knees to keep from collapsing and then unlocks them back to trying to stay upright.

I could re-watch those moments for hours and hours and hours...

And now a brain worm laid an egg: what if his legs gave out before Victor decapitated him... and he's saved by his own failing body and all we see are some strands of hair landing in front of him.

Idk how he would react though... mad or frightened. Maybe both...

Are you telling me that Love and Deepspace actually gave us canon “overexerting powers has whumpy consequences” trope???!!!! I don’t even have to go to drastic lengths in fanfic?? I am actually mind blown

Whumpy Goodness:

When a character is introduced using whump.

Maybe he stumbles in all bloody and needs help and they’re like, “Oh yeah, that’s our friend! He needs help! Let’s add him to the storyline and constantly make him suffer physically and emotionally!”

When you're describing the character's injuries and the severity of their condition in your fic and you get THAT feeling. You know THE one. It's the best.

Oh that beautiful, sweet, amazing feeling.

Never Ignore A Gut Feeling

Summary: Wesker could not remember feeling as terrible as he did at that moment as he wiped the sweat from his brow and returned to tapping against the computer keys. This report was due hours ago and he should never have left it to Joseph to finish. Grumbling, he made a mental note to give Joseph additional duties for the weekend, something simple he could actually accomplish.

Sucking in a tight breath, his hands shook slightly above the keys as another wave of pain rolled through his abdomen and upwards to settle low in his chest.
