Im a little scared. I get the horribly distinct feeling that Wednesday is gonna queerbait me like I've never been baited before. I've been in the supernatural and voltron fandoms lol.
Don't get me wrong unless the entire writing team gets the boot, I've never expected wenclair to go canon. What im concerned about is the vast difference between what the marketing and promos have shown us versus what the writers are now saying.
The promos have explained that this season will focus on family and friends ship and the entire plot is focused on Wednesday's powers and Enids potential death. So why are the writers talking about something entirely different??? Not to mention the direct insults to the fanbase.
Don't get me wrong personally I prefer when writers write the stories they want to tell without much fan influences. However, in this current age where we have to wait a minimum of 3 years between seasons I think writers should feel more grateful towards the fans who make fanart and are willing to wait that long. At the very least dont insult them and their intelligence.
I guess it boils down to either the writers are incompetent and dont know what the main story focus is about or they lied to the marketing team.
