i hate gendered language
#i know it's not that simple#but i just read 'Tony is a bit of a drama queen' and got irrationally annoyed#why queen?#why not king?#why can't it be a male trait to be dramatic?#and why is it anytime someone even thinks about taking care of their friends they're the 'mom'?#why not the dad??#i am so tired of reading about two men being the 'mom and dad' to a group of people#and i can't properly explain my feelings about this which frustrates me even more#i hate that#i fucking am smart why can't i ever describe my feelings about anything#especially something like this#when it's not even about emotions#argh#Smowkie talks#or rather:#Smowkie rants in the tags
