Breakdown's super sweet, and pretty kind to everyone after the truce hit... except Bulkhead and Wheeljack. We know that gleeful drama.

I've mentioned how Breakdown still isn't fully comfy around humans since MECH got him. He's built up a mini friendship with June but this is almost exclusively in the medic server, and he's a little proud the vehicons have absolutely adopted Fowler and vice versa. But trauma is a strong motherfucker, and his processor cannot stop looping back to when he was captured and Silas. This doesn't go away like this stays with him until the day he dies, which is valid as hell tbh. Your trauma doesn't need to "go away" in order for you to live a little better each day. Like yeah sometimes there'll be shit that will affect you your entire life but you'll learn to live with it.

When Optimus came back, it took a while for them to realise what their subconscious knew immediately. It was like his emotions and expressions were cranked up 10x. The kids were delighted to learn that yes his finials could move so much more. Lectures about Cybertronian culture, like straight up actual learning lectures, became more and more common. Many parts of him that had slowly faded as the war dragged on— back within a few short months.

The general lack of Decepticon activity had shown everyone on base that there's so much more to Optimus than anyone could've ever thought.
