Why I pay $30 a day for spin class
- helps with my ADD. I hate taking meds because they have such awful side effects that I hate & working out helps a lot with me being productive & able to get work done.
- I am much better at dealing with stress and adversity. It has become such a stress release for me that it makes me so much happier and mentally healthier.
- It helps my stomach. I know this is an odd one, but as someone with lots of stomach issues, working out daily helps to regulate my stomach.
- I eat healthier because I stopped craving sweets-- I still crave salt & vinegar chips a lot, but I think that’s more a craving for the fat in them since it’s always when I haven’t eaten enough food for the day so I’m assuming this is my body craving the calories of fat.
- It helps me get on a schedule-- this kind of goes back to the ADD, but when I wake up early to go to spin class I just get ready and start my day & getting shit done. My schedule is wake, walk, spin, shower, get ready at spin, go to campus, start working. It’s honestly so helpful.
- It’s me time. When I’m a super stressed and busy college student, there’s nothing better than having an hour to focus on you & that’s what spin is to me.
